seems to be sold out for that price.
Still available for me
Probably doesnt show cause doesnt ship to my address then i guess. Amazon sucks for me since it started excluding regions.
just going to have to move to sydney instead of luxuriating in all those regional benefits such as almost affordable housing
wonder if its worth someone setting up a drop shipping service for regional areas - I'm guessing with internal postage costs (from the drop ship site to the regional area) its probably not going to be worth it.
@dtc: Yeah go and live in the bottom of the toilet state, while your there, enjoy the cheaper shipping but greater taxes ;)
I just updated the deal link to force Amazon to show you the Amazon AU listing. However, if you go through the checkout process, you should be told that the item cannot be shipped to you.
great unit, only complaints are the often mentioned button sensitivity and the door can be difficulty to remove for cleaning
Thanks. Needed to upgrade due to growing kids. Got it from Mydeal with $15 off eofy coupon. With shipping it came down to $98.
MyDeal is matching the price. Use the EOFY15 code and you can get it for $98.99 delivered.
Just picked one up.
why's your delivery fee so low?
No idea, I am located in Brisbane. I must be in one of their free postage zones.
Delivery is $32 😱 to Perth's suburbs, so Amazon is still cheaper for us.
Is mydeal is trustable marketplace? I saw many deals there but they seem to come from different sellers.
It is predominantly a 3rd party marketplace, worth checking out the seller profile. It is a very similar setup to the now defunct Catch website.
I have purchased from MyDeal around 2 or 3 times. Never had any issues.
I bought quite a few things. Had one item that was damaged or warped in a set of 3. They offered me a full refund for return or 50% refund and keep it. So they are good for refunds, returns etc. Plus you can use your everyday rewards points to buy stuff.
Works reasonably well save for the touch buttons and some issues with cooking uniformity with multiple trays. Needs quite a few rejigs to ensure even cooking.
Prefer the look of the 2x 5L dual basket models once this one carks it.
I've recently thrown mine out after 3 years of regular use.
The led display no longer lit up the numbers correctly so I could only guess what temperature was set.
Touch buttons were annoying as well.
Shame, it was otherwise good. I will not buy again.
3 years, not bad. Why complain and not buy another one? It’s not like your buying a $1500 oven that last 5 years??
3 years is bad and a $1500 oven should last far longer than 5 years. Why would you set your standards so low? Instant Pot is not some dirt cheap store brand, and if their products fail in such short order than people should complain and look elsewhere for a replacement.
I’m not setting my standards low, for $109 dollars, if I got 3 years out of an item with 12 months warranty for that price, I would be impressed. Most ovens come with 5 year warranty’s, hence the manufacturer believes it should last at least that period of time, just because in your mind the more you pay the longer it should last, doesn’t make it so.
@BatmanAU: "I’m not setting my standards low, for $109 dollars, if I got 3 years out of an item with 12 months warranty for that price, I would be impressed"
Was it $109 3 years ago? I've bought cheaper store brand appliances with 12 months warranty that have lasted more than 3 years. Other commenters here are suggesting that they didn't even get a year out of these units. I was under the impression that Instant Pot was a reasonably good brand, but after reading these comments I'm not so sure. I have a Duo that's been going strong for 4 or 5 years, but it sounds like their quality has dropped off a cliff.
" just because in your mind the more you pay the longer it should last, doesn’t make it so."
Maybe, but it should. What's the point of paying more otherwise? Why not just buy the cheapest, nastiest crap and throw it out every six months?
@TightKingBilly: By your first comment you didn’t seem impressed???
If a product has 12 months warranty, as said above, the manufacturer believes that it should last that long. I don’t understand why people think their products should last longer. The ACCC also believes in the manufacturer warranty, otherwise they would fight for “warranty coverage what consumer believes their entitled too” legislation.
I’m not saying that it shouldn’t last longer than 12 months, and 99% of items probably do last longer than 12 months. But to not buy a product that doesn’t last 3 years like your first one, well that’s a bit short sighted IMO.
I have had a $4k Samsung die after two months, but obviously covered under warranty. If it dies in a month when it’s outside the warranty, I will buy another Samsung as it did what it said it would do and they fixed it under warranty. I’ve also had a Hisense fridge for 13 years that had a 5 year warranty, and that’s a bonus and exceeded my expectations, but won’t buy another one as I didn’t like the product that much.
But each to their own
Guys
What do you recommend to me as a convection oven?
I use it for preheat my everyday meals and that’s it.
I just wanted to get rid of my microwave because of those electromagnetic waves
Something like a Breville Smart (toaster) oven may work. Especially for smaller item. Purchase one when my main oven died of old age was great mor most things. Also pull it out at christmas when I nedd extra ovening.
Aldi have an air fryer that looks more like a traditional toaster oven. It's a special buy next Wed, 2nd July. 24L, $129. That's twice the capacity of this one, also stainless steel. However, the Aldi one doesn't have a rotisserie hook or rotisserie basket (handy for turning over chips for you).
My mum likes her ALDI one so much she bought a second one. I'm not sure if she uses both (she doesn't like the accessibility of her built in oven now she's older) or if she's keeping one for if/when the first one dies.
Why are you trying to avoid the electromagnetic waves from a microwave?
Heat is an electromagnatic wave. My suggestion is to avoid heat also.
And live inside a lead box
How about the small amount of cosmic rays that might get through? Also I suspect they will get lead poisoning eventually.
The real crime here is lack of education really.
Target in Mandurah, WA and various stores in other states have a 12L Anko one that looks similar. $85 on clearance. I've found Kmart appliances to be of good quality.

There was a $15 coupon for me, so came down to $94 with free delivery in Melbourne.
I added the Silicone Air Fryer Liners to reach the $120 minimum spend and apply the discount code on Amazon Business. Total was $69 + $14.99.
We are on our second one of these. We use it daily. It's OK, but it is not perfect.
The issue is the LED display, which on the first one we had crapped itself after about six months.
The current (replacement) one we have is just over six months old and the display on it has developed two dimmed segments. Looks like it will go the same way. The dimmed segments make it difficult to read programs, prompts, timings and particularly temperature settings.
that's what happened to mine. The controls stopped working because the door thing stopped registering as closed.
whats the warranty like on these. if you could return again with display issues?
Hasn't the parent company filed for bankruptcy so warranty in the future probably should not be relied upon right?
Keep in mind you're supporting Trump by buying Instant Pot. They're releasing a Trump themed MAGA Instant Pot and proceeds will go to fund the Trump Presidential Library.
I've got one and will use the shit out of it, but I sure as hell won't buy anything else from them knowing where my money is going.
Yeah that was super disappointing (I really like my Instant Pot pressure cooker!) and I won't buy any of their products now
Thank you, I didn’t know.
More reasons to buy one now.
100% what a bonus knowing they support trump!
Make Airfryers Great Again
Trump was always right. I support trump 100%.
Thanks OP. I've been looking for a stainless steel air fryer. Does anyone have any recommendations for trays / inserts that don't have non-stick coatings?
I bought this but it had a burning plastic smell on use. Tried online forums and made a few use attempts but still the same smell. Returned and went with Ninja.
how do you clean the food that fell into door hinges' gap?
Isn't this size coming close to an actual oven? Seems a bit pointless
The touch buttons are legitimately useless. The segment driver for the display in mine is dying so all the unused segments for each digit are ghosted. Makes setting the temp/time harder. It however does the actual cooking bit well. Great for small roasts or crispy pork belly. The door lifts off pretty easy for cleaning, not sure how others have issues?
$91.82 with the $15 off voucher + pay with "PayTo' for extra 2% off.
have this and works well. unless this is a newer version, the touch buttons can at times be annoying as it doesn't always recognise the touch (common complaint with this model)
