Wow good price. Much nice experience than Vietjet for similar money, even with the layover in Singapore

    • Yep, I don't mind 5-7hr layover in Singapore, but need be morning/day time to be able to go outside airport.

  • Good price from PER but we flew direct up to HCM recently for not much more on Vietnam Airlines. The flight from PER is great as it gets you into HCM at around 7am, so you have a whole first day up there.

There's some business reward seats at 47950 miles each also.

I'm sure it's a more comfortable flight, but Vietjet currently up to hundreds cheaper and it's a direct flight. Unless you really want to stopover surely Vietjet is a better option.

    • Yeah, I mean its only a 6 hour flight. I just don't see the extra money being worth it, Vietjet is fine for a short flight.

      • Yeah agreed. Maybe a 10+ hour flight but for this, generally the convenience of direct flights is superior (being cheaper is always a bonus).

Great price but layover is a killer though.

Thanks for flying directly overseas from Adelaide. Something our so called national carrier won't do. Love your work Singapore Airlines.

    • Not sure about directly but they all have 1 stop before going overseas

  • Sydney flights have a 9 hour layover in Singapore, no thanks! I'd rather use Vietjet for a direct flight

  • Cheaper to book a return but use it for one way only

  • Boeing no thanks

  • Those Perth prices are amazing.
6.40am Leave Perth, 3.05pm arrive in Ho Chi Minh City with 2 hours in Singapore's lovely airport
12.15pm leave Ho Chi Minh City, 11:55pm arrive back at work.
    All for $565!

Any recommendation for hotels with good sound proofing?
I assume Ho Chi Minh City has the same problem as Hanoi (Horn, horns everywhere and all day!) :)

    • Do you know if this works with a 2-3 day stopover in Singapore on the return leg?

    • I found it less hectic than Hanoi - great city

  • And the Sydney flights get 9hr layover from a 12.30am arrival… there’s next to nothing you could do. - except pay for a lounge

  • So these deals go through to "Budget Air"
    has anyone used them before?
