Someone's going to mention the Rose Anvil video where he barely had any idea what he was talking about and couldn't tell the difference between a pair of craftsmans and comfort craftsmans so I just thought I'd beat them to it.

He only likes comfort insoles if the brand pays him to like them, e.g. Thursday.

  • Are these the made in china ones?

    • +1

No, made in Australia by China

  • 559 for Walnut UK 8/9/12, 519 for maple uk6-10

  • $519.20 for the 2025 model year Gardeners is not a bad deal. $699 for those direct from RM… which is a bad deal.

Some of the old seasonal boots like Maple though are less of a bargain, they have stock of those sitting at the outlet stores for $495, sometimes with a 20% or even 30% off sale from that price.

I'd jump on these with a further discount but it seems like the referral and the HEYICONIC codes don't work on the sale items. :(

    • it does work, but you need a new email and use a different phone num..

FYI to save anyone else the trouble, it looks like none of the discount codes for The Iconic work on R.M. Williams as they're an excluded brand now, which is a recent change for this year. That includes the birthday code, any of the new signup codes and it seems like basically everything else. The referral code also won't work on sale items.

I remember when the RRP was $599 and you could pick them up on sale for ~$320 only a few years ago.

And a pair of Viberg was $500 CAD pre-covid. That time has long gone.

Check out the RM outlet stores.
They had a sale recently in store of 30% off a lot of stock, not sure if still on.

    • which one?

Wayville and Toowoomba sale was more than that. Or are you thinking DFO?

  • I’ve never been rich enough to own a cheap pair of shoes.

    • What's your go-to nowaways? Edward Green or Crockett & Jones?

      • -1

Those are decent options, but I’ve upgraded to Tom Ford Custom Oxfords and never looked back.

  • Let's hope I can swap these in store for the wide (H) version.

    • Is that a thing? I need the wide and none are on sale
