Copied from last description:

Dermal Therapy make some of the best lip balms. Products are Australian-made. Chemist warehouse often have them for 20-30% off and 40% off is very rare.

I've tried quite a few of the 10g squeeze tube varieties and they're super moisturising for dry lips, and last all night if you apply before bed. Not waxy or sticky. They are more moisturising than Burts Bees twist-up lip balms. (I have not tried Dermal Therapy's twist-up tube varieties). I've also bought the 10g squeeze tubes for friends overseas and they love them.

If you don't want any tingly menthol/peppermint, go for the pawpaw or manuka honey varieties.

Woolworths also stocks the new tinted ones in three shades. For swatch and review see this reddit post.

    Main ingredient: petrolatum 🥹

Petrolatum is an excellent and safe occlusive that prevents dryness.

    • petrolatum is THE gold standard occlusive. you will be far fetched to find any moisturiser or balm that doesn't contain it for good reason. there is nothing better at holding in moisture except wrapping plastic wrap on your skin in extreme exzema cases

    • You would hope so! Why would you want to use a lip balm without it…

they do make the best lip bum considering

  • Hardcore Ozbargainers use their ear wax on dry lips.

  • These are my favourite lip balm, great price to stock up on them

    Great write up OP!

  • Have recently tried this due to all the good reviews, but found that it burns my lips. I have the original twist-tube one and it smells like Vicks Vaporub and feels like I'm putting a mild version of that on my lips.

It does seem to be quite moisturising though, but the burning I experience isn't pleasant.

It sounds like the sensitive one would be more suitable for you? Either that or the honey and paw paw ones do not contain menthol.

  • Better spend money on Carmex, these do absolutely 0 effect
