KVL85.004BK is the higher-end package of the Chef Titanium Chef Baker XL stand mixer, and costs $543.31 with cashback.

KVL65.001WH is the standard package of the same stand mixer, and costs $450.42 with cashback.

Both comes with bonus cake decorating kit, food mincer attachment and Blend Xtract attachment.

For $92.89 extra (after cashback), you get the following upgrades in the KVL85.004BK:

  • Additional stainless steel 5L bowl.
  • Stainless steel K-Beater.
  • Stainless steel spiral dough hook.

THANKS10 code can be used for 10% off, but note that Shopback specifically states only SHOP5 works with Shopback's 20% cashback.

I have seen one person report that THANKS10 stacked with Shopback's cashback, but I personally did not risk it, and used SHOP5 myself for the KVL85.004BK.

Looks like a good deal, but the price in the title should list the pre-cashback amount as cash back is not guaranteed.

  • What's your primary usage of a stand mix? I only need to kneed dough for bread.

    • I’m a new baker and have never used a stand mixer. On mine, I’m planning on making sweet and savoury baked goods, e.g. bread and pretzel. I’ll be making desserts too, e.g. tiramisu, but not cake.

A stand mixer is useful for almost all types of batters (as long as not tiny volumes), biscuit doughs, beating liquids etc (eg whipping cream, eggs), and for bread doughs (though it takes some time to get used to how that works in a stand mixer, and tough doughs will make the mixer seem like it wants to walk away (violent vibration/movement) — sometimes literally off the bench — so be careful).

    • Making bread dough, pizza dough,
pie dough. Make your own puff pastry. Whipping egg yolks and sugar for a custard base. Pulverising fruit to make filling for a fruit pie. Amazing for shredding meat (does it in seconds). Making (for example) a burnt basque cheesecake, you essentially just dump the ingredients in one by one. I’ve made ice cream in mine half a dozen times too. And I use the attachment rollers to make homemade pasta.

Honestly, if you bake regularly, you’ll use it way more than you imagine.

      • Which attachment do you use for shredding meat? Sounds like a cool idea for saving time with forks!

        • +1

Kenwood’s K-Beater to shred meat. Equivalent beater attachment for other brands. Apparently shreds very efficiently and quickly, and if you let it run a few seconds too long, you’ll get puréed meat instead!

Thank you, I found it! Unfortunately can't cancel my existing order, but fortunately they accept returns on unopened products so I'll return this one and place an order for another. Amazing tip!

KitchenAid for looks, kenwood for things to work. KitchenAid couldn’t handle pizza dough so swapped it for the kenwood which is ok for any baking stuff generally. Bought a heavy duty spiral mixer with a spinning base as well for heavier dough

  • Cant buy it as the sports blender is out of stock. It wont even let me remove it from the cart as i dont really care if i dont get that attachment.

  • nothing tracked. been 48 hours.

I placed two orders in total, and both tracked for me.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

      • wow. very lame for me lol. I submitted a missing tracking ticket.

  • Titanium Chef Baker XL Black (KVL85.004BK) is back in stock.

    • with none of the promo attachements and price jacked up, no thanks. Will look at other brands instead of kenwood.

Check out ShopBack's happy hour later today for a nice surprise, otherwise there'll be some more deals coming soon on the Kenwood website if you prefer the bonus attachments.

        • no comparison, an extra 5% (25%) cashback vs this deal that expired which had 20% cashback at the time plus the bonus attachments.
Soon is like asking how long a piece of string is.
Just a bit salty i wasn’t able to obtain this deal as the website wouldn’t let me order it at the time. But its ok, there are other comparable mixers that have good deals at the moment.
