Just saying, that Agoda also has cashback at 14%. I somewhat prefer Agoda than Trip, because they have book now pay later (and it still tracked by cashrewards/shopback) and cancellable as well in case cheaper rates found..
Thanks for that ,a quick comparison on Trip.com on Agoda and i only have compared two of the hotels so far and they are between $100 to $150p/n more on agoda. Trip.com also does free cancellation and pay at the hotel. Interestingly through trip.com its $6 cheaper per night to pay at the hotel compared to pay now. With Agoda its $8 more to go refundable (from non refundable) and pay 2 days before the stay and then if you want the pay at hotel option its an extra $32p/n! crazy.
The issue i see with Trip.com is everything you click on opens a new window. That worries me that it wont get tracked since you are meant to keep open and use the window that opens from Cashrewards.
I use Agoda app../ Trip App and it does track..and in theory, the difference shouldnt be that high of $150 more (so, check currency and sites). It also depends on where your holiday is. I find that Agoda is cheaper for South East Asia (Bali) hotels

Thanks. Cancelled my booking made earlier through shopback and rebooked through cashrewards and saved $250.
Doesn't appear to be a cap. I have about 10-15k of overseas hotels to book for a family trip at the end of the year. Would be interesting if it all tracked and I actually got the $1500-$2250 back. Can't say I would be all that hopeful.
Also cashback is paid out up to 95 days after hotel stay. Would be early next year but I suppose if it works it's worth the wait.
