“These damn people won’t accept their cancer and yet they expect us to accept their chemotherapy? It’s not right, I don’t like change, I’m insecure in who I am and I want other people to suffer for it.”

Wow!
being born either a male or female is now equated to being born with “cancer” ?!!
also:
Cancer: no! you’re ‘cancer’!
Society: you’re ‘cancer’.- @bootlace

Amazing logic!! Wowie!!!
😮🤯
I’m lost for words!! I just can’t with that! lol!!!
What’s next?Hats off to you ~ sir/ madam/ cancer~

Good luck to them having ‘new unreal tools’ obtained (via that “chemo” you describe) trying to work as they should with the real thing (ie the “cancer” you describe) that they were born with. (Ie function as intended. eg to produce offspring to make the society function and continue to produce offspring ~ and thus to continue to function, etc.)

No, having gender dysphoria is what's being equated with cancer. One way to understand it is being born into a male body with a "female" brain. This causes a large amount of mental anguish as your brain doesn't align with the way your body presents.
@SirBeansalot: The environment and context (and circumstance) predominantly shapes the person. (And the same for the environment to tolerate their behaviour to some extent, either out of fear, or from not wanting to ‘disturb the “peace” ’. (amongst other similar reasons.)
For instance, Take same person you say and put, let’s say, in a starved and war torn country with a lot of poverty and suffering. I seriously doubt they will be thinking or have the time of day to even consider the “issue they think they have” that you’re describing.
@YoursTruly: Put people in a starved and war torn country with a lot of poverty and suffering and you won’t get much of a lot of other things either - AAA video games, worrying about the length of their hair or the cohesiveness of their wardrobe, arguing on bargain forums about the taste of coffee and their favourite brands of batteries.
All this is is the hierarchy of needs. The things that make people who they are don’t change, just that for people to be people they first have to be alive.
@YoursTruly: What the (profanity) are you even saying
Edit: I'll just add this as someone who ACTUALLY FEELS the way this discussion is talking about.
Imagine you have a disfigurement or perhaps a visually obvious birthmark. You've had it all your life, and you've grown mostly accustomed to it - but it's* always* there. Maybe it hurts, or maybe you're embarrassed of it. Maybe you see people who don't have that mark and you think, "wow, I'd like to look like them, instead of like this." Perhaps you're born diabetic or with a thyroid issue and you're stuck looking overweight for the majority of your life, and you look at slim people and wish that was you. Perhaps you feel there's nothing you can do about your body—you're born like this, and the only solution is a LOT of painful and expensive and very visibly obvious surgery that will change you in your own, your family's, your friends, and the public's eyes forever—but that doesn't stop you sometimes wishing you could just go through with it. You constantly compare yourself to the clean-skinned; the slender; the fit and agile - whatever example rings true for you. Everywhere you go, you see them and wish that was you. You end up being used to, but still, inevitably, inexorably, deep down in your core like it's your very backbone, despising a part of yourself that you know… Or at least fear… That you can never, ever change.
Is it really that big a deal to you?
For real. People gotta touch grass and mind their own
Is it really that big a deal to you?
No not really. It’s an observation.
Any other question?
Society should accept it because it doesn’t affect them. If you are affected by it, it’s a problem you need to deal with.
Gender and racism has been an ongoing battle even for first world countries. We see racism and sexism to this day, from people who share their opinions and thoughts without knowing acting about the subject.
Some men, think the world should revolve around them and their opinions, while they ridicule others. The hypocrisy
That escalated weirdly….
—
Society should accept it.
Just as society should accept many other things that they shove under the proverbial rug? (Too many to list, and too many to bother with now.)
Society should accept it because it doesn’t affect them.
Oh yes it does! at least in a long term aspect. I recommend you strive to do some research re: aspect of survival/ population increase/ continuity and society’s mental health.
If you are affected by it, it’s a problem you need to deal with.
I think this befalls on you, not me. Clearly it’s a problem for you (and others here) for me to voice myself.
It still baffles me how something is automatically equated to one unrelated thing. (Hint: it does not)
Some men, think the world should revolve around them and their opinions, while they ridicule others. The hypocrisy
Are you not doing this here now?
Please keep your projections of the above to yourself.“Some men”
Isn’t that sexist as well? lol. Reverse hypocrisy.@YoursTruly: No it’s not sexist, it’s fact. Patriarchy is the reason for racism and sexism.
You are the one that has an issue with this though, not me. Therefore you are the one that is sensitive to the topic you raised.
I’ll stop here because nothing anyone proves or says will change your mind. Like I said, some men are too sensitive to things that change their existing understandings and environment. That’s okay, but they should strive to progress rather than regression. There are great resources to help you with your patriarchal beliefs.
@onlinepred: sensitive? Ok lol
Whatever I have to say is grinding you deep. So clearly you’re sensitive. I’m being courteous to give you my attention and voice.
And oh my lord - with the projecting!
Please, Have a good evening/ night.
Remember not to be bothered by this ;)@YoursTruly: You wanted an argument, otherwise you wouldn’t have said a thing. You can’t control yourself. It’s the same with others, mostly sensitive men, some even with toxic masculinity traits, but keep it to Facebook, not a bargain website.
I’ll stop here because nothing anyone proves or says will change your mind.
What happened to “stopping here”?
You can’t control yourself.
You’re projecting again 🤦♂️
but keep it to Facebook, not a bargain website.
Thanks, I didn’t realise I required permission.
Good night ;)
Found David Cage…
🤔
No spoilers, I like to go in fresh!
Is this a playable port? Or should I just buy it on ps3?
PS3 version is a good way to play the game.
Good game. Willem and Elliot are superb in this. Might get it for the Steam Deck.
Same!

I can confirm changing the controller layout to have the trackpad act as right stick works. I ended up downloading a community made layout that worked for me which only stated "trackpad for QTE". perfect in every way. I do wish the right stick worked as intended because i still used it for controlling Aiden and trackpad for QTE only but using the trackpad for both cases overall was better but a bit sensitive
Upvote for helpful Deck fren! I love the deck but as a PC-slaved lefty, sometimes nothing compares to having a left-sided mouse input, and a lot of games/input engines just do NOT like combining the two - and Valve haven't yet added an easy way to Southpaw the Deck inputs. Useful community controls are always a nice to have!
From that thread
Look, there is a legit way, it helps a lot. While in game, open steam overlay ("steam" button), in opened list click on game name, move to "controller settings", and there you should find "controller configuration". There are different tabs for controller layouts. One of official layouts is called "steam" (default it is PS4 layout for some reason).
‘Beyond: Two Souls’ Video Game Getting TV Series Adaptation By Elliot Page’s Pageboy
Play the game before you don't have to.
cries in never finishing Last of Us, but watched the show
The game is always going to be a more powerful experience I reckon (unless you hate games). But the show probably gives you enough of an idea io get by if you just want to know what happens.
Eh, but the Games PC controls are awful.
Stranger Things: The Game
Good game
I'm glad Quantic Dreams is doing something different. They have good general ideas but their execution is mediocre and don't do anything outstanding
Detroit: Become Human is outstanding IMO.
Copypasta from my previous comment about Detroid: Become Human
"They are not a machine, they are alive". It doesn't go deeper than that. It's all very surface level to sound emotional and big when it is not. From a sci-fi perspective, it doesn't challenge our taken for granted understanding of being alive, conscious, rights, autonomy. The message is very in your face and one sided.
With the ambitious number of endings, the writing suffered from consistency and has a lot of contrived conflicts which further breaks immersion
Damnit! Don't you know I bought this for 5 or 6 bucks a year or so back and still haven't played it!?!
