Reds:
Headlines Pinot Noir 2011 x 3
Aroma has appealing notes of black cherry, violet and dried herbs. A light bodied red wine with bright fresh flavours of ripe cherry plums which are silky and well supported by nutmeg and earthy spices. A smooth palate with gentle fine-grained tannin and a clean fruit finish. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for 2-3 years maximum.

Berton Vineyards Foundstone Shiraz 2012 x 3
The Foundstone Shiraz is densely coloured with youthful violet hues. The nose is very expressive, offering up an abundance of aromas, predominantly ripe blackberry and plums along with toasty sweet oak.
The palate is generous and concentrated showing blackberry, black cherry and plum flavours. Complex oak characters of coffee, vanilla and caramel complement the full fruit flavours and create a rich, long and satisfying finish. Drink now but will cellar for 3 years.

Niche Reserve Merlot 2011 x 3
100% McLaren Vale Fruit the colour if deep dark red with a purple rim. Plum and mulberry aromas on the nose, with lovely soft hints of violets and spicy French oak. Beautifully soft, fruit driven wine showing typical Merlot flavours on the palate. A wine which has great persistence of sweet plum, nutmeg and cherry fruit with a full, rich texture and velvety tannins complemented by earthy, minty hints. Great to drink now, but will mature and develop complexity over the medium term.

Armidale Estate "Hill Grove" Shiraz 2012 x 3
From renown Kingston Estate this wine is crimson red with youthful purple hues. The nose is reminiscent of fresh blackberry and hints of liquorice with cracked pepper spice overtones. The palate is supple, rich and rounded with soft tannins providing a lingering fruity finish and will reward all lovers of young, flavoursome new world reds. It has the potential to develop further in the bottle if carefully cellared, but we recommend you enjoy its youthful exuberance on release.

Whites:
Normans Holbrooks Road Sauvignon Blanc 2012 x 3
Very pale straw with light green tinge. Fresh lime, orange and passionfruit aromas. Loaded with fresh tropical fruit flavours with light and elegant varietal characters. There are notes of lime, passionfruit and freshly cut grass. There is excellent natural fruit acid balance, which allows the wine to leave you with a touch of crisp acidity at the end. Made to drink upon release while the fruit flavour is at its most fresh and vibrant, but will reward short term cellaring.

TJ By Trevor Jones Langhorne Creek Chardonnay 2012 x 3
Pale golden straw with vibrant green hues. Lifted aromas of freshly cut white peaches, citrus and honeydew melon with an underlying hint of nougat and nutmeg. Even texture on the palate, with underlying white stone fruits and fresh citrus flavours. This is a creamy yet crisp clean wine with persistent and tantalizing mineral acidity. Produced by renowned winemaker Trevor Jones.

Berton Vineyards Foundstone Pinot Grigio 2012 x 3
The Foundstone Pinot Grigio displays subtle aromas of apple, pear and citrus. The palate is crisp and refreshing with tingly acidity and flavours of lemon, pear and kiwifruit which combine to give the palate good length and intensity. This wine has been made to drink now but will cellar for 2 years. AWARD WINNER - Royal Adelaide Wine Show 2012.

Rock Ferry Rapaura Marlborough Riesling 2011 x 3

You have to pick either Reds - or - Whites. There is no mixed Reds + Whites.

    • It's mixed in that there are different wines within each red or white dozen :)

expensive at $120 shipped for these wines and the stella. At least by ozbargain standard.

Post somewhere with better prices or retract that

  • $18 shipping for me

Looks like all the reds are offered on the buy 1 free 1 case deal.
Therefore if the case of red is $60 the beer is costing $40 and shipping is $18.
Don't think I'll grab it but thanks

  • can you pick up if live local?

  • Has anyone sampled any of these wines before? I bought a couple of cases advertised from a deal on OZBargain (can't remember) and the red wine was absolutely foul (tasted like chemicals rather than wine - hell even vinegar would've been better). Any insight or recommendations are more than welcome.

    Cheers,

  • The fact that most of the reds are from 2012 says it all. Avoid.
