Sorry … too soon?!?
its a pepsico company anyway… so boycott it for that
Nah just pathetic.
Got it, the crowd wants to support warmongers if a product is cheap enough!
Will go buy a few more Kaspersky subs now ;)
@SarcasticEmu: As with most things, it's a spectrum. Sodastream sits closer to the evil side than most, plus their product is shockingly overpriced.
just drink water
But what if I like my water to have bubbles in it?
Get a straw and blow into it like a toddler does.
I've tried, it's just not the same!
Buy bath water
Still grossly overpriced. Syrups taste nothing like the real thing.
I feel like the Pepsi syrups are identical to the original Cola ones. LA Ice tastes way better and that's still pretty bad as far as Cola goes.
I don't like Pepsi, but the Passiona, Solo, lemonade, Sunkist, etc syrups from Woolies are spot on.
Thanks OP, needed to replace old SodaStream.
I like the Sunkist flavours from Woolies etc., although I went into Woolies the other day and the Sunkist sugar free was on clearance. I hope they're not discontinuing it. I've had my sodastream for years and use it a lot, but am moving off any purchases that send money to companies with any operations/$ going to Israel.
So, I've switched to the clone gas bottles, and am experimenting with other flavours and brands.I've found a brand called "Zerup" which looks expensive at first, but works out to be a smidge cheaper per bottle than the Israeli brands.
There are also flavours available called "Water drops" or similar, which are a REALLY subtle flavour, and also quite cheap. You can have this kind of DIY soda drinks at home without supporting mass murderers (Sorry I'm not usually political).
I drink wayyy too much sugar-free soda stream. They say it's not bad for you, but it is in fact quite bad for your teeth over extended periods, as the carbonated water is a bit acidic. Same for the Pepsi Max flavours etc (which I love) which raise the acidity further..
Check out the alternate options. I've found them to be great, and cheaper: and I sleep at night.
Does the glass bottle allow you to inject more CO2 in? Like how glass bottle coke is more fizzy than canned coke.
No. People usually choose glass due to micro plastic concerns.
What you are noticing is that over time different materials allow the beverage to slowly depressurise at different rates, which is not important if you are drinking it within a day of carbonation.
