Buggiest device I've ever owned is the Zenbook S16 and I've had complete lack of support or even acknowledgement from ASUS.
BSOD, flicker, touchpad stops responding even when touchscreen works, etc. All types of weird issues.
2 of my Asus laptops keyboards broke within a year. Cant trust Asus.
My Zenbook 14 just has constant wifi connection problems, and if the battery gets completely flat need to use my Dell usb-c charger because the Asus one doesn't seem to work in that situation ¯_(ツ)_/¯
But the OLED is glorious and the battery life great… Would definitely get an extended warranty if I had my time again though.
Good price and jumped. Been looking to replace my 14 year old Zenbook Flip which is only just starting to die - has been an awesome laptop and would happily go ASUS again.
Hey mate, how have you found the new zenbook so far?
Yep good purchase so far. Screen great, battery great, no issues or concerns.
Nice, thanks for that! And it's touchscreen right?
FYI i went in store and they dropped it down to $1100 flat for me
Can you tell me why? I'm about to buy one.
I just asked haha
lucky
Specs are misleading on Officeworks site - is it touchscreen mate?
Yeah its touchscreen 100%
How have you found this laptop overall?
Would you by any chance have a receipt for this that I could try show staff?
Does it have any gaming potential?
Not much but probably bit better than Intel iGPU.
Despite the 7xxx model number it is a repackaged Zen 3 chip with older iGPU.
I recently got a mini pc with Zen 4 based 7840HS and it's pretty decent. The CPU slightly outperforms my desktop 5700X and the 780M iGPU can handle a bit of light 1080p gaming quite well.
Something like the older 6800 with 680M iGPU (or newer with 760M which is roughly the same as the 680M) might be a good starting point. Not sure what's out there in laptops.
16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD? Meh…
why meh?
Because for sub-$1000 they know where to get a 155h but won't share. Still waiting on a link or their very first post showing where this can be had.
My bro you can just google it. There are so many 155h laptops that are sub-$1000
Only 5 left so i cant post, but $1699 for this after using the JUL2025 code is an absolute steal, theyre selling for $1000 more on hp website

How much slower than the fruit brand M4 ?
at what? getting buyers remorse?
How does this compare to Lenovo Ideapad 14 inch Snapdragon X Plus 8 Core/32GB/1TB SSD Next Gen AI CoPilot+ PC Laptop

I've always been a bit wary of ARM based CPUs for Windows (maybe not such a big deal these days) but as far as the processor goes looks pretty capable (Actually just realised thats the 10 core model. Cant find the 8 core on there, but looks like it still outperforms the 7430U)
Graphics not so much, pretty similar to the 7430U iGPU if it runs at all (possibly a lot more compatibility issues if the X Elite is anything to go by.)
The CPU is a rebranded 4 year old 6 core 5600U FYI
Wow that's good. Asus Zenbooks are pretty much amongst the highest end Windows Ultrabooks. Plus OLED screen. 6 CORE CPU is a bit disappointing.
