Xbox Game Pass Core 12 Months Key India from Eneba

I bought the 12m GPC India on 2/4 but had to wait until July for existing GPC to expire. I've set my MS account region to India with the High Commission in Delhi as billing address. Set region to India using PureVPN but get this message when entering key.

"Incorrect region

You are trying to purchase from an incorrect region. You'll need to update your settings to purchase from the correct region. For more info, visit xbox.com/IncorrectRegion."

Could it be an expired key, VPN failure, other..? Any ideas welcome.

    In a twist, I set PureVPN to India but xbox.com is going to Turkey. Is PureVPN stuffed too?

    It's well documented that MS cracked down on this loophole over the last 6 months or so, there's also a good chance you'll get your account banned too.

    I believe some people have had success in creating a new 'Indian' account and redeeming the codes on that account or setting the VPN to Singapore. Sorry I don't remember exactly the process, you'll have to search it up.

    Once done, as long as your Xbox is set as the home console you can still use GP on your normal AU account.
