    I have 4 MacPac jackets and they all stain easily and they can't be wasted out. I am going to try Kathmandu, hopefully better or at least equal.

    IMO the Epiq is a nicer jacket than Halo - fleece lined pockets (both sides) & neck area. I also prefer the separate stuff sack rather than trying to stuff the jacket into a pocket. It was a nicer fit for me as well - the Halo seemed tight under my arms (armpit area). I found the sizing about right. I was happy to pay a few extra dollars last year for the Epiq. This is a good price.

      I think this may be the lowest price it's been? I also had a $20 coupon for first time purchase through app so I only paid $119 (non hood version for commute to work)
