Also other Dreame robot vacuums discounted.

I like this one because it has the anti-tangle blade for the roller, mop extends under doorways, and strong suction. It seems it can handle thickish pile rugs, but mop raise only 12mm so probably still best to remove the magnetic mop spinning brushes to avoid wet rug (apparently magnetic and auto-disables mop when removed). Time will tell!

    I have a L10s Ultra Heat. I couldn't return to the dock by itself after 2 months.
    My friend has a Roborock, failed in less than 1 year.

      Whereas my Xiaomi Robot Vacuum has been going strong since 2017 (which I think was a Roborock predecessor cuz I've seen Roborock in the app somewhere). Wouldn't surprise me if most of them are Xiaomi off-shoot brands.

    I asked Copilot haha. There are considerations around mopping, rugs/carpet depth, anti-hair cutting blades, motor strength, this one has the extendy mop to reach under door s when mopping. Depends what you want. If you solely want a vacuum then you can get them much cheaper. Just figure out what's needed for your home and your wants.

  We got the l30 ultra s for $973 plus a $150 Harvey Norman gift card on June 30th. Early days but so far looks like it’s working well. Upgraded from a 5 year old roborock s5

    Based on the specs in the robovac spreadsheet, L40 Ultra CE might be D20 Ultra in other markets

      I actually ordered that and then cancelled and bought this one. This one seems slightly better on thick rugs which I have. But yeah for most people with hard floors and then also can handle average carpet I think you're right.

      And for those that are happy to vacuum themselves the mop vacuums are also an option. But I'm too scattered and forgetful for that (he says with the mop vac sitting next to him unused for more than 6 months).
