  • Looks like all the tools are brushed according to specs but 50 a tool isn't bad especially with 2 batteries.

  • This or the De Walt 18v hammer drill at Bunnings? I'm only interested in the hammer drill but just for drilling thru concrete for hanging picture frames and curtains, and also for bolting big furnitures to the wall.

    • +1

For brick and mortar this will be fine, for concrete, depending on strength, these smaller units can struggle, I'd be lost without my Hilti.

    • +2

Do yourself a favour & buy AC powered if you're working near an outlet, cost of ownership & lower power of battery tools as well as having to change & replace (buy more) dead batteries as well as original price make them far better value!

  • Great tools, I recently purchased through HN Commercial, paid $382, but I'm sad now when I see this price.

    • +1

Yeah, well … seems this isn't a deal & you lucked in.

  • +2

Anyone else getting "no featured offers available" and then the only buying option is $487?

    • -1

      Not me.

      • How is it possible we see different prices? … any chance of sharing a screen print?

    • Just came to say same.

    • I'm logged in with my Prime account (and can see all other deals thrown up so far today).
I wonder why some of us can see this deal and others can't?

    • Same for me, regional area where they don't ship certain things so I guess this is in that bucket. Sad!

      • +1

Just tried a few different postcodes (Bris, Perth, various Syd, Mel and a couple of regional ones) and none gave me any joy.

        • Used a Linux laptop & my Android phone both never logged into Amazon before, did not log in, same outcome.

      • Nope, has nothing to do with that. I can't see it on mine either, maybe OP saw it in amazon.com or other region and accidentally posted it.

        • Nope, Amazon US only sells Dewalt out of the group of tools owned by the group that owns DeWalt Stanley etc & some are seeing the price in this post.

    • Same here, postcode 3030

  • Any chance the batteries are compatible with DeWalt?

    • +1

No, they won’t work. While Stanley and DeWalt are owned by the same parent company, their battery platforms are completely different and not cross-compatible.

      • +1

        Thanks

  • I checked within minutes of this being posted, no deal & now this post is labelled OOS … this is weird & annoying!
