Robot Vacuum - Best Prime Day Deal

Hey, buying my first robot vacuum and was hoping someone with some more knowledge then I could help guide me towards the best option. During the prime day sales.

Budget is around $500 - $1000 (Would prefer to keep towards the $500 range).

Some I were looking at are the:

dreame L10s Ultra - $650
dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 - $900
Lefant M2 Pro - $330
ECOVACS DEEBOT N20 Plus - $500
EUREKA E20 Plus - $600
ECOVACS Deebot T30 Omni - $700
roborock Q8 Max+ - $550

Appreciate any help or let me know any others that are a ripper deal. Thanks

If you don't mind a very Chinese one (poorly programmed, eventually finds it way around, weird narration (ie tells you what you've done AFTER), etc), then just any off Temu on 50% CB is ~$100

Well below your budget but they do the job, mopping too. Main loss is no fancy app to set boundaries or show how it's mapped the room, but it does eventually start doing laps and avoiding found obstacles.

Are we talking robot vacuums or mail order brides here?

I could also tie a vaccum cleaner to a dog and it would probably do just as good as these TEMU ones.

I mean, if it's a lab they'll eat literally anything and the vacuum will pick up the fur so you're not wrong

    Good value all rounder: roborock Q8 Max+ - $550

Need a bit more info on the area to be cleaned:

    1. Single level? Steps? Split level?
    2. Carpet? Tile? Floorboards? Rugs?
    3. Area to be cleaned in sqm? 30sqm? 75sqm? 140sqm?
    4. How tidy is the floor? cables? clothes? shoes? toys? food? pet hair?
    • Single Level - no steps or anything
Mainly carpet with a small hardwood floor kitchen and tile bathroom
      Probably about 100SQM
The floor is tidy but is pet hair, no cables/shoes/toys etc

      • roborock Q8 Max+ would be the best for that area. 100sqm excluding furniture etc would be within the limit of the robots battery.

        • I have a similar requirement. Single level around 200sqm with a mix of floorboards, carpets and rugs. No pets. Would you still recommend Q8 Max+?

          • @ahoyoid: You might want to consider two robots and get each to cover half the floor. Maybe try one first and see how it goes and the second if you need it.

            • @skid: Would you think the l10s ultra ($620) would be the best for only doing hybrid floors where mopping is most important?

              • @Wackojacko99: I don't think any robot does a good job of mopping because there isn't enough downward force.

I am a Roborock fan. We have an older model, and it is amazing. I wouldn't even bother looking at other brands.

      Have you tried other brands?

      • -1

No, and I don't want to. I have friends that have other brands and their experiences are not comparable to mine.

  • I have a ECOVACS Deebot T30 Omni which I got for about 850 which was a good deal at the time I thought. It's doing a good job on my quite large upper floor here including cat hair etc. It easily manages a 15mm lip between the lounge and the kitchen and isnt offensively loud

    • How long have you had the T30 Omni? Iam mulling between T30 Omni, T30s Pro and Roborock Qrevo Maxv.

  • Looking for a robo vac that can handle long dog hair without it being curled around a roller requiring cleaning each and every cycle.

Dog: Standard long hair border collie, say 10cm long coat.

    • Find one with 2 rollers, they do a better job than single roller. I have the Roborock S8 ultra, it still needs to be cleaned every other week or so, mostly because the hair gets stuck to the ends of the rollers, but not everyday. Household has 2 females with long hairs and 3 cats.
