    Jeez the description 😅

  • don't trust big nut

  • Don't know much about Almond milk as i prefer my milk from a teat but one of my kid's has Almond milk often and wondering what's the difference between this Milklab brand and say the Vitasoy Almond milk which is currently $2 per litre at Coles to justify the high price?

    • This particular brand's milk from a nut is used for brewing milk-based coffees. Compared to the milk you're looking at, it would be creamier/smoother, with less separation into chonky bits at high temps, and would also froth better (easier?). Vitasoy also have a barista range for their milks from a nut but you will see it's also similarly expensive (but it does go on sale more!).

      • Thanks for the info. She's not a coffee drinker, so I guess the Vitasoy is ok then. She drinks it straight or with Milo and has it with muesli, oats, etc, and always the unsweetend version.

      Ingredients.
Also kudos to your kid! https://ourworldindata.org/environmental-impact-milks

      • I notice they don't look at pesticide use.
And no mention of calories of food produced per square metre or grams of digestible indispensable amino acids produced per square metre.

        • For all 35mL of almond in a 1litre container? :-D

But yea valid point, need a sustainable source of almonds

  • I placed an order for 2 and the total came to $49.96 with promotion code of $10 was applied but can't find what code was, I used Visa card.

    • Did you have $10 promotional credit sitting there in your account from another deal eg buy Amazon Gift card for $200 get $10 credit?

No I didn't, I just double checked and found that the following offer was redeemed " Get $10.00 off $80.00 with an Eligible Card. Promo code CARD10 is saved to your account."
As I purchased something else worth of $30 in the morning and in addition to this one in the afternoon that triggered the promotion.
