I am looking for a motherboard for my 9800x3d. I don't overclock cpu. I think a b650 is enough for me. the b650 price is very different and each store price is different. can anyone help me find a bargain?
I also found the b850 and x870 price is similar.
Any Motherboard Deal for Ryzen 7 9800X3D

thanks the $199 board is very good value. on Amazon I found for about $350 there are b650e x870 and x670e. at first I plan to spend about this money, then is it the x670e the best?
I found the ASUS TUF GAMING B650M-E WIFI vrm is only 8 do you think it is enough?
It's more than enough. TDP of the 9800x3d is only 150w, I've got mine on the B650M GAMING X AX which has 6+2+1 and even overclocked it doesn't go over that 150w.
But I undervolt it (-20 PBO) and leave it stock clocks and it's very stable, at max load (cinebench) it'll use 100w. But during gaming it sits around 50w, going up to around 70w-80w when loading a level or caching shaders.
Very efficient CPU so you don't need a crazy amount of power from the motherboard. It also means it runs very cool, my thermalright phantom spirit tower air cooler keeps it around 50-60c while gaming… although in summer that creeps up to 70c or so, but no where near the 95c is engineered to run at
how is this motherboard with 32% cashback?

personally, if I were going an ATX board, I'd get one with more than two m.2 slots.
thanks it is atx board.
9800x3d is a pretty good processor. If you were to get the full potential of the cpu, the mother board would also need to support good memory and a high end gpu. If you are not into gamming this would not matter
I bought the MSI Pro B650m-A. It looks very similar spec wise to the one you linked. The main difference is the VRMs are better on the B650-S as it's a full ATX rather than M-ATX motherboard. If you know that you will be buying a medium - large case, it's probably a decent option ($250 on Amazon). However, if you are thinking of getting an mATX case then the one I bought was $180 at Scorptec. Personally, if the Asus board had been $200 when i bought mine I probably would have gone with it.
the B650-S I linked price increased (before is free shipping now $17) it was $192 after cashback now it is $210
then buy from amazon with discounted gift card is cheap and better warrenty
even I think B650m is enough for me. but I still looked more expensive ones. Now I am decide between the below motherboards.
MSI PRO B650-S WiFi AM5 ATX $210 after 32% cashback
GIGABYTE X870 Eagle WIFI7 $353.65 from amazon
MSI X670E Gaming Plus WiFi $353.07 from amazon and about $390 from local stores
ASRock B850 Steel Legend WiFi for $359 and ASRock X870 Steel Legend WiFi for $399 from scorptec also ASRock B650 Steel Legend WiFi for #309 but have to wait a month
I know the steel legend different model difference is small they all have PCIe 5.0 the only difference is ports. but I don't want to wait a month for the b650
As the commenters above said, it really depends on which features you want. Personally, I think the MSI X670E at Amazon is the best value from your list.
thanks
I also watched this Zen 5 Ready AMD B650 Buying Guide, Top 5 Best B650 Boards, but it is hard to find a good deal in Australia

$147.76 for a MSI Pro B650-P, not much decent ATX choices tbh
@RichardF89: Of course its cheaper :D I just had a quick look on Taobao and IDK how to sort/search properly on it so if you can figure it out Im sure youll find a full B650 for 100-150 delivered and even better quality seeing as this listing doesnt have that many orders
If you can wait best deal would be an Aliexpress motherboard: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005007116256482.html?
