It's mostly people using their $3 1.5w rated Temu and Aliexpress cables plugged into the 12w port on this device, into their random cheap electronics devices from same locations wondering why their stuff breaks/sets on fire.

I bought this in Jan for $70, I've used it a lot and I really like it.
Something to note thought the unit is very heavy, can be a bit of a pain in your backpack. I have a simple 66W HP USB-C laptop charger and that weighs only 200G, this badboy is 400g! That is both of them with a 2M USB-C cord and no power cord included. Of course this has more power though and I do still like it.
