Pixel 8 Pro - Marketplace Warranty Claim?

Hi all, I missed the Telstra deal here for the 8 Pro.

There are flippers with them available new in box on my local marketplace, I think I can get it for around $550. My question is, if I have an issue and I get the original receipt from them, can I still claim warranty from Google/Telstra?

Or should I hold out for the 10 and do the Telstra/JB Hifi workaround on a 256gb model?

  Hold out for 10, should be able to do workaround. Usually out around November

  It is a shame you missed out. Personally for a smart phone like that I wouldn’t risk it on marketplace. Just wait for the next round of deals to come through. Even if a deal is $50 more, it is worth it for peace of mind that you can take it back no problems if there is a issue.
