  I get confused by these Samsung other models.

  Is the A25 based on a previous version S2x series, and repurposed here so that Samsung can make some revenue without having to do any further R&D?

    Put it simple, it"s a newer slightly updated version of the previous years A24.

    I was about to say the same thing. There's an A26 out too.
    Not quite as simple as ozhunter68 says, the A16 came out last year (2024). The A26 this year (2025).
    The A25 came out in 2023.

      OK, was out by 2 weeks. Like I said, splitting hairs.

      There are 3 x various Ram models available, the 4, 6, and 8 gb models.

      This is the 6 gb model, so ok for price.

          @sam buster: All good, I rarely take things personally online, especially as can easily take short written

          messages out of context, me included. As you can see, I was also getting bit padantic

          going into detail with various ram models. Hope it helps someone as in 2025 you

          would prefer not to spend over $250 and only get a meagre 4 gb ram for that price,

          as maybe ok now but would certainly slow down with future OS updates.
