    Price matching JB.

Added to my cart and thinking about it.

      Only three? Peasant

    • Do you have a special rack you hang your items from to steam?

      • +4

Yes, it's custom built to hold all 3 of his handheld steamers so he can use them simultaneously for 3x power.

I just hang it off my pull up bar lol 😂

  • $35.1 on Amazon Business website.

    • For AB assume you need an ABN. What's the downside?
Do you need to then file tax returns since you have an ABN?

Woudl this one be a lot better than kmart steamer? https://www.kmart.com.au/product/garment-steamer-42393009/

    • +3

Looking at just the numbers, Kmart is 50% more powerful at 1500w vs Phillips 1000w. The output also lines up too with 1.65L/50min (33mL/min) vs 20mL/min.

Kmart one is bulky but has a proper water tank.

The Kmart one is really good, but this looks way nicer

I purchased one of these from Amazon earlier this year and compared to my old Tefal one, it didn't perform as efficiently as I'd like. The size is great if you want to travel with it but the tank is rather small and it took quite a while to fully get the wrinkles out of my linen dress or my partner's linen shirt.

I also had to refill the tank a second time to get my maxi dress to an acceptable level of unwrinklyness - just to illustrate the size of the water tank and efficiency of the steamer.

In my honest opinion, it's worth a purchase at this price. But just know that there are probably much better options out there in terms of efficiency!

Thank you so much, i have an older tefal unit and was wondering how this handheld woykd compare.

    • So good enough for underwear for a sexy night

    • Does it to t shirts/sweaters ok? Looking to get one for travel.

      • I reckon it'd work alright for t-shirts. I'm not sure about sweaters since they're a bit thicker but in theory, you may just have to do a couple more passes to fully get rid of wrinkles! At this price and with this size, it'd make a pretty good travel steamer.

I have one of these - you have to adjust your expectations a little given the size and water capacity. I didn't find it hugely effective to be honest.

  • I spent a considerable amount of time looking at the all-in-one rather than the individual steamer last night. All I can say is that the one with 90g/min takes 1.5min for one polo shirt (from one of the video on Youtube) so if you're using the lower version then it will take longer. Will it work? yes, but won't be quick. I also had one similar to the Kmart one a long time ago (from the COTD time) and it was very painful. The tube was so rigid and didn't produce consistent steam, but that's a long time ago. Maybe it has changed now.

    PROs- lightweight, cheap
CONs- does not get the job done.

For linen fabrics, go for the steam station that comes with the board/mitt.

Thank you for stopping my urge to buy this. Now I just have to waste my money elsewhere

  • Is there a reasonable handheld steamer that people recommend? There are several on sale for prime day and my missus has been after one
