    I picked this up 6 months ago for $1300 from costco and it's been great. Does a great job of vac and mop when run daily.
    It's not too noisy so we can run it while we're a home but it is a bit annoying when it does the room you're in.

    We have 4 cats and changing the bag in the dock every 1-2 months. Replacements are cheap on amazon.

    The only thing is the water containers in the dock fill up/empty quickly. I find I get 5 or 6 runs before the dirty water is full and the clean water is empty. So it is a weekly tasks to handle that. But it's very quick to do though.

        The roller has been fine, only cleaned once I think. The smaller three pronged brush to bring dust in often gets wrapped in hair, but it hasn't stopped it functioning yet.
        No issues at all with the mops, they seem great.

      I have seen some people installing like pipes from their sink directly to the water tank or smth along the lines of that. that way they dont have to worry about changing the water

      It’s a great robot vacuum. Have you found a way to stop the dirty water tank from smelling so bad? I rinse and wash with morning fresh but sometimes the smell is so bad

        When you empty it, put in 2-3 Teaspoons of cleaning white vinegar.

        Also, once a week, I'd take out the mop and soak it in Vanish for 20mins, rinse and hang to dry. Mine developed that old musty smell so had to clean it often.

    How is the Mop working on this ? What about the Map creation and maintenance? has it created the map properly and keep it updated fine ?
    Is this better than the Roborck s7-max-ultra ?

      Mapping is good, no issues, it's smart enough to notice that if a chair is moved from one cleaning session to another, to clean where the chair was.

      It still gets tangled up on some wires though like my white 2meter usb-c laying around near the bed. It does avoid bigger power cord wires. I think it's got an issue with contrast detection - it cannot see the white wire..

      The app is great. It does a full map of the house. Within that map, you can section off rooms and place digital furniture. You can place a dining table and then tell it to clean around the table and it knows where to go. You can place pet bowls and litter, and one of the default options is a pet area tidy up and it can go off and just do that. I've set up a bunch of no-go zones digitally like the insides of wardrobes in case one gets left open.

      The object detection is pretty good too. Haven't had any issues. One day it only cleaned half the house because it couldn't get down the hall way as it thought there was pet waste, but it was just a cat toy.

      You can remote control it via the app too, I saved it from being stuck a couple times by driving it while I was at work.

      From what I can tell from watching youtube videos like vacuumwars - a lot of top vacuum brands are mostly equal now in terms of features, but apparently roborock has the best app.

    how does the roborock Qrevo L compare to this? Looking for best bang for buck, saw the ecovac but seemed to quite a bit of neg towards it

      I have an ecovac T8+ from 3 years ago, and i didn't have a good experience. Map software is very bad, at least it was 3 years ago. Robot is not sucking anymore, last a bt less than 2 years. i was stupid not to do the claim for warranty under ACCC

      Have the Edge C and it is great. extendable mop and brush work great on corners. Our Dyson is almost out of use and collecting dust.

      Don't even try to understand the roborock names. It seems like release a new product line every 6 months with a new name, and then 5 to 10 models within that product line. There is a very complicated spreadsheet that someone has made floating around in previous threads and on reddit you can find with googling.
