Had this, used for 1 month and returned it, too weak for buffalo grass at medium height (4 weeks growth in summer). Bought the Ozito steel deck one, also too weak, returned. Then got the Aldi steel deck one on special for $299 ($399 normal price) and that one has been just powerful enough to cut Buffalo grass at medium height. Couldn't believe the Aldi one was the best out of the 3. Still shite compared to my old Rover mower from the 1990's but it is lightweight and lower noise pollution so some wins.
36V is childs play for mowers for anything beyond the most basic of uses.
Milwaukee 36v battery mower is 1 of the best on the market
Buffalo is meant to be mowed more often and not too short
Buffalo grass medium height should be cut in 2 runs minimum
Makita do at least make more powerful models but too expensive for me rn, waiting for something electric in this price range that's powerful enough to do the above 🤨
Greenworks 60V kits with redemptions. Eofy at totaltools had extra store credit as well.
I got the DLM464PT2 kit with this mower, dual charger and 2 x 5Ah charger (+ 2 more 5aH batteries by redemption) for $654.48 from Bunnings by price matching Tools Warehouse at the start of the year. I'd recommend keeping an eye out for a better deal that includes redemptions etc.
