While looking for the Click 45W PD charger I came across an even better deal on these 67W PD power cubes. After checking 'you in stock?', I found many stores offering them for even less (examples listed below).

Check your local store's price in the links below. Yellow price tags are store specific clearances and Bunnings won't price match other stores. If it says $20, don't expect the staff to drop it to $5.

Both have USB-C PD 67W fast charging in a single port, as well as an additional USB-C and USB-A port. The PPS charger has a single outlet, while the non-PPS charger has 3 outlets.

Clearly, they are trying to clear them out.

I have noticed a more prominent phone charger/cable section in a lot of Bunnings stores. Less Click and more other brands with higher prices.

Used to be the same with smart light bulbs. Countless supply of all sorts of different sub-$5 Brilliant RGB bulbs.

      • +4

My take is that Bunnings plan / model is to get rid of bang for buck reliable bargain type goods, and replace them with more expensive options. Sprinkled with shit items (which will evaporate over time) Just like Colesworth, they want less range, higher profit, and to get you to buy, now that you are in the store. Most ppl will buy the higher priced item to justify the trip, and to limit losing time.Over time the range has basically halved, and the prices have crept up exponentially. Monopolies will do that. Leap on clearance bargains (if you really need the product or can foresee usage) because nothing 'like for like' will take it's place. When the building boom is in full swing expect massive hikes, sparse shelves of some items, and crap in the wrong place, as Bunnings cash in on the trade sector even more.

        • Yes you're on the money there. Push out the competition and raise the prices.

With the Click phone cables they've been clearing out for months for a few dollars. They now have a new range of cables that's no longer in a box but just a spool hanging off the hook and costs triple than the old cables at full price.

So I'm hoarding the shit out of this Click stuff so it'll last.

This brand is of very poor quality. Don't expect much on any of their products.

I bought both the wireless charger and a wireless keyboard - 1/10 for quality.

Good to see Bunnings clear this garbage out.

    • I tested high output for the other deal. It wasn't very hot which is a good sign

  • +6

Click is very poor quality. Two of the chargers I bought in an earlier deal just stopped working. Yet to return.

    • +8

My $11 65W one from the deal 2 months ago is still going strong. Click are rebadging all sorts of OEM products from different factories so YMMV.

      • My ones playing up. Need to plug my phone on charge. Then unplug and replug the charging cord in for it to work these days.

    • +2

Lol my USB cables i bought from this brand @ $2 are going great thanks!

      • -7

Ripped off. You can get it delivered to your door from China for less.

Unless it's a really fancy cable.

        • +7

Get over yourself. $2 is a great price and if it breaks within warranty, just hand it over during your next potting mix run.

Convenience and piece of mind is worth the extra couple of cents.

Yeah it was a USB C to Lightning which worked perfectly with my wife's iPhone.

          All smoke no fire!

            @eddyah: Dinkum.

Now we need a deal on Vaseline. Plenty of butt hurt going on with the audience.

            • @justtoreply: My butt is sensitive to chaffing so post any vaseline deals you find!

        • Username checks out.

        • Oof, you don’t poke Big Red in this forum. Negative votes very scary

    • Click is a Bunnings house brand. This list is copied from Whirlpool post, so may be inaccurate and is likely o be incomplete:

      Baracuda
      Citeco
      Click
      Craftright
      DETA
      Full Boar
      Gerni
      Hy-Clor
      Jumbuck
      Mondella
      Ozito
      Pinnacle Hardware
      Ryobi
      Saxon
      TRADIE
      Trojan

If you want high quality, it's probably best to avoid Bunnings altogether.

      • Other than Ryobi / Ozito / Hy Clor, it pretty much looks like the list of stuff I often see in the skip at the local transfer station.

      • Ryobi isn't a bunnings brand? Bunnings just has exclusivity to sell it in Australia. Its owns by TTI - same company that owns Milwaukee

Fyi found these at Nunawading Vic and they were $30+ on clearance…
The one posted previously with wireless charger is still $59+ and not on clearance

  • +1

    Click is poor quality seconded

  • +5

I got 8 of these for $2.50 at Capalaba QLD not long ago.

    • +2

Wowzers what a bargain you scored.

      • +8

At that price I didn't even think twice tbh. They have been flawless thus far too. Don't seem like they are terrible quality. And have a 1.5m lead, its like an extension lead AND a 67w GaN charger. You can't even get a 1.5m extension lead for $2.50.

I bought one of each and tested them out by charging a Surface Laptop 4 only. The single outlet charged fine, however the 3 outlet would charge then stop charging after a few secs repeatedly. Will be returning the 3 outlet, which is a shame as the 3 outlet actually feels sturdier and has an on-off switch.

    • +1

Interesting I'll have to test mine out with a USB-C reader. Perhaps with the 3 other outlets 'active' it's drawing too much power and the USB-C port is no longer delivering enough?

      • +1

I was charging through the USB-C ports only, from memory didn’t make any diff whichever one I tried. Didn’t try charging anything else, and haven’t tried any USB-A port either.

    • Just bought one of each and my 3 outlet one charges my laptop without issue. The laptop's USB-C charger is rated at 65W.

both are deleted stock. funny how some stores are full price while others are giving them away for $5

  • Just visit Seven Hills (NSW), Due to no cleanrance price tag and it scans as 20, they refuse to sell me at $5. Even they known the item is in Cleanrance trolley.

    • Did the stock checker website report it as being $5? It reports $10 for the first charger and $19.99 for the second.

      • yes, but it is not their system, they won't agree the price.

        • Bunnings won't price match other stores. They haven't set the price to $5 and that's why it scanned higher.

    • Unlucky, I was going to go there too

      • +1

Check the stock checker before going to any store to see their price so you won't be disappointed to find that they haven't discounted it.

        • Looks like I misread the comment, I did see the $10 on the stock checker. If stock remains might see if I can pick it up later today

  • I guess stores set whatever price they want. The Gawler SA store has them at $39 and $35 on ‘clearance’!

    • +2

Correct. If I recall yellow stickers are store specific clearances and orange stickers are national price clearances.

      • Orange stickers are often used to price match competitors for the duration of that stores sale.
Yellow clearance are often deleted items but czn be inconsistent across atores sith prices as seen by these items.

  • so i can use this to charge a hp laptop that uses usb c charging that the current charger is 65 watt does the USN c cable need to be a better quality?

    • For 65w you will need a better cable that can support 100w/5A (or above), but you should be able to get 60w out of most normal usbc-usbc cables. My lenovo laptop refuses to charge with 60w while it's on but charges fine with 65w or above

      • Thanks Bro..

  • So it seems every store will set their own random price

  • Scanned at full price at my local Bunnings - should've read the post description before heading in.

  • $35 at vermont south bunnings ;(

  • Was at Greenacre today. Spent over an hour looking for this. Couldn’t find it so checked with a team member. He wasn’t aware of this product, spent quite a long time helping to look for it but couldn’t find it as well.

    • Try Narellan. Lots of stock.

      • Was just here now and its $20.

        • Weird - it was $5 the other day.

    • Saw this after I went, the front desk at Greenacre said they had no idea where it was and someone had spent 20 minutes to find it with no success. Assume its sold out

  • +1

get to closest bunning to try my luck…
    -> Has stock ,
-> but with $39 clearance pricetag
-> Asked stuff is that price is adjustable as I saw other bunning with $5 to $10, and he said he can do $10 for me

finally I got 5 of them.

  • Stores near me in QLD are all $30 - $40
