This 4K laser projector was very popular back in November and now it's cheaper. especially if you're use the 5% off PayTo discount. (The maximum transaction limit per PayTo transaction is up to $1,000. — Promotional Terms) While I don't own this one it does appear to be on the cheaper end when it comes to these kind of projectors.

        Tv

        • Sorry for not being clear enough. What's a better 4K laser projector at this price range?

          • @Clear: Put more money and go for atleast c2 ultra or valerion. Worse case jmgo

But not this one. Its too old and still 1500, no way.

            Wasting money on old tech

            • @Zeee: which is better XGIMI Mogo 2 Pro or the Formovie S5 Laser for $500? Looking for something around $500

                • @A Banana4scale: Adding to this:

The original chart rankings are off someone invented a more accurate calculation for the projectors quality.*

Personally I own the Everycom. While it's very good I don't recommend the project since it's not a sealed projector.

If you don't care about cleaning it once a year then there's a $300 version. It's the best bang for your buck projector on the market.

I forget the name. It's a rebrand for the Chinese market by the same company, it almost the same look as the everycom.

There's forums on the 4PDA site about this.

But for projector reviews I'd recommend going on 4PDA to see reviews (use Google translate).

*One of the reasons is that lumens is a log scale so it doesn't increase linearly.

                  • @MomentOfTruss: So which one do you recommend, bang for your buck?

                    • @Yorkshire-Man: The Everycom HQ10w.

Granted there is Chinese model of it, I think the Chinese name is Touyinger, and you can dig through 4PDA since they mention the equivalent. But I think it has a less powerful chip and it's not worth searching for.

Reading the 4PDA one of the trusted posters recommends Everycome cubelite / Touyinger Q12W PRO which is supposed to be brighter. So that might be worth checking out too.

Also it should be noted the prices on Alibaba is cheaper then the ones on AliExpress for these projectors.

  • Why is it always the old model and not the SE?

Anker treat Australia as a dumping ground for old tech?

  • The X1 is the new Anker Darling, but its substantially more than this, but it has a dynamic iris that increases contrast quite substantially like the Valerian Max which is due out next month or so

    • I was interested in upgrading to X1 (I already own Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K since last year) but Anker AU has informed me that they do not have any plan to launch X1 in Australia :(

      • Yeah thats a pity. I currently have a vidda c2 ultra bought from Ali, but was curious to buy an x1 on the cheap, but it doesnt look like you can buy it even on Alibaba/express

        • Do we expect those Aliexpress.com or alibaba listings authentic nebulla?

  • Available again.

  • This or XGIMI Horizon Ultra 4K ?
Or other 4k projector at this price range ?

  • Any recommended case (not official, its 249) and a stand ?
I am liking it but the only downside is that lens cannot be adjusted to angle up/down (at least I didn't get this so far)
