I was so close to booking coldplay/imagine dragons but the seats are not guaranteed, only the "zone". If you show up late, big dollaryoos for shitty view and sound… according to reviews as least.

    • It is usually in council halls that are not that big. You will enjoy the art regardless.

I’ve only heard mixed to negative reviews for this.

    • Same, the only rave reviews are people either invited or bought the most $$ tix and also came early (45mins min).

  • Last time I went to one of their shows, all you could hear were the performers breathing louder than their instruments. Disappointed with their performance and not worth it

  • Not sure what the previous commenters have experienced, but I've been to three Candlelight concerts here in Adelaide in the past year and they've all been ultra relaxing and a great atmosphere.

    Bridgerton, Studio Ghibli and Coldplay.

If you don't like violin, I mean, it's probably not going to be your thing. But if you like to chill out to good renditions of your favourite music in a relaxed atmosphere, this is a decent night out.

Sound of the instruments was far from soft, good volume really. And for the Coldplay event we were off center, and it still sounded great.

  • Thanks OP. I've attended 2 concerts at UWA Perth and loved it. Looking forward to my 3rd candlelight concert

  • Attended multiple shows in Melbourne and were all worth it.
