  • Oh, there is a “Pro” now…lol

Now to wait for the Pro Max Version

    • Just like how TCL has Pro TV's. Samsung just following in line.

    • Yes , and has MiniLed , which is a game changer in well lit rooms.

  • I'm thinking that this must be an error by Samsung. As a loyalty customer code is only meant for an existing account. Not a new account. I'm thinking that it's not meant to used on a new account and stackable with another promo discount.

    • Should be normal price. But only for officials

  • I did stack and worked , samsung team on WhatsApp requested for a photo of S/N from any old Samsung device.

  • Has anyone got/looked into the new “frame” style competitors? Hisense Canvas and TCL NXTFrame. Any opinions?

Samsung Frame still looks the most plausible in art mode.

The non pro Frame is probably the worst picture for actual TV (it’s fine; but plenty better out there), the new Pro brings it more in line with other QLED and the TCL, but still nothing like an OLED.

I personally HATE the little sensor ‘wart’ on the bottom of the TCL and Hisense (ruins the picture frame illusion for me) but ymmv.

Samsung Frame have the remote box for all the connections which can be a positive or negative depending on use case, Hisense and TCL have conventional ports.

All up I’d say the Samsungs are the most convincing if purchasing for the picture frame concept first, TV second. The Hisense and TCL are more TV first but it can also do the picture mode. If you have no interest in the art mode, generally avoid all of them as you can get a better ‘TV’ for less money in nearly all cases.

    • Just go to stores…

I think Frame Pro still looks better than TCL NXTFRAME though

  • What’s a workaround to sign up to the Government portal?

    • Nothing really

Get a job at the local council.
I see them in the local park in the council car at my park from 8am to 10am having a nap in the car.

  • Comes to $2661.93 with $50 trade-in. Good deal, thanks OP.

  • Heads up Samsung use ANC for delivery and this mob will just keep cancelling your schedule delivery time to suit them (not you)

    • +1

The performance of this delivery company seems to be a Jekyll and Hyde situation. Had a Samsung order to my place go straight through, scheduled and arrive on the promised day, at exactly the delivery window, with a courtesy call 15 mins before, no drama 5 stars. Just put another order in for a family member and it's put on hold by ANC seemingly indefinitely with no recourse, website gaslights you into thinking you can choose a new delivery date but then it won't let you pick anything. According to their FAQ and it's so they can "maximise the efficiency of our delivery professionals travelling out your way."
