Looks like a decent price for 11-1 not and ATL but haven’t seen it cheaper for a few years.
Never owned one, about to find out if they’re any good.

There an 8L model? I wish I knew before I bought mine
Would definitely recommend the larger cooker particularly if using the air fryer function regularly.
The 5.7 L is a PAIN in the ass to fry approx 1 kg of chicken wings, thighs, and drum sticks
Have this. It's good, but I never use the air fryer function.
I really should
I have this one as well but to be honest, the air fryer function is not great. We use our Ninja Duo rather, which is a pity, because I was hoping to save some space in the kitchen. After sales service is great, the seal/ring snapped and it was replaced free of charge without any issue.
the seal/ring snapped
How and how long it last until it snap?
We have the 8L version. Missus initially said that it's ugly, but she now loves it.
The only problem: we frequently need both functions for preparing the same meal, so we'd better have two separate products.
Also don't use the air fryer that much. Kind of annoying having that air fryer lid lying around - but does fry okay all in all.
We have this unit (2 years) and the Instant Pot Vortex air fryer (3 years) as well. Although we use the Vortex as our primary air fryer, we use every function of this one as well including its air frier. Politely, I vehemently disagree with the other poster saying " the air fryer function is not great". It air fries superbly. As well as if not better than the Vortex, which is as good as any and better than most. However, I wouldn't buy it primarily for its air frying funciton.
It's outstanding features are as a pressure cooker and slow cooker. For roasting whole roasts, it's our preferred Instant Pot. These functions are where this unit sees most of its use in out kitchen. Also superb for baking. Have also used it's dehydrator functionality as well. Just over 24 months in with this unit regularly used several times a week, more often in winter. We haven't had a seal/ring fail. fail yet.
does it have the stainless steel inner pot?
Correct, nice differentiator.
WHATS IN THE BOX: Multi-Cooker Base, Pressure Cooker Lid, Stainless Steel Inner Pot, Steam Rack with Handles, Air Fryer Lid, Air Fryer Basket, Dehydrating Tray, Protective Pad and Power Cable
I have one of these (I think it is a larger model)
Bought it to replace a basic pressure cooker that broke.
Works well as a pressure cooker, but the seals do soak in the flavours of whatever you are cooking (eg. soy sauce)
The air fryer function works, but it is small (you use a basket inside).
Spare seals were cheap on Amazon ($10 a pair?)
I wish I could block all air fryer deals, so I don't get air fryer envy after getting the $99 Instantpot Vortex.
Is the air fryer part stainless steel?
No, it's nonstick.
But you could air fry using the stainless pot and the stainless trivet, it would just be further away from the heating element (lower in the pot).
Ok thanks
I love switching to the air fryer lid at the end to put a bit of toasty brown colour on top.
I have this, air fryer is only 204C and smallish
Otherwise works well
Most are fryers in Australia have a max of 200! 204 is actually pretty good
AI Overview
The maximum temperature of an air fryer typically ranges from 400°F to 450°F (204°C to 232°C). Some may go higher…
Most fats polymerize (breaks down) when you go over 400 which is not desirable.
Some starch based foods e.g. potatoes, etc. can be heated in temps over 400, but they will cook just fine at lower temps using a longer heating time.
What you can't reproduce in an air fryer is searing meats at high temps. The Maillard reaction starts at 300, but to get that deep crust you need higher temps.
Look, it's great that you gave me the AI overview of the Google results, but…
If you actually look at the specs on pretty much every air-fryer on this site, they cap out at 200 C
The Instant line of Air Fryers hits 205 C
Some outliers exist - the Nina Foodi Grill XL hits 260 C! - However, the draw/bucket-style air fryers that a prevalent on OzBargain only reach 200.
Philips - 200
Tefal Easy Fry Max Air Fryer - 200
Ninja (not grill version) - 200
kmart's entire range of air fryers - https://www.kmart.com.au/category/home-and-living/air-fryers… - 200 C
etc.
Instant - 205 C!
The limit is due to the non-stick stuff breaking down at higher temperatures
I have this and love it. Fav receipe is mac n cheese. Pressure cook first for a few mins then pop on air fryer lid to crisp. Does anyone know where to buy the air fryer trivet and basket?
Some of us got the tefal version for $50 or so during catch closing down sale
Perfect example of buying 2 separate device can do the job much better
convection microwave and a deep fryer?
cos that's my go to.
speaking of which i really should bust out the deep fryer and make some doughnuts.
i think it should be a pressure cooker and a normal air fryer in this case
Have had this for over a year. All functions are great except the air fryer.
Originally thought it was great but it only really works well if you use the metal stand and cook something on the stand in the middle of the pot.
If you use the two layer container, anything on the bottom simply doesn’t get cooked. And you can’t cook a load of chips in it. You’d have to do it in a few small batches. For whatever reason the air just doesn’t circulate well.
I've had mine for over 2 years, excellent. Air fryer is a bit small, I should have got the 8L pressure cooker is good. Kind of annoying that you have to keep and store the 2 different lids
I should also add that changing the temperature is a pain in the arse, constantly pushing the down or up buttons
I think it might be the same as the pressure cooker one where you can hold the button instead of pushing it many times like adjusting the timer?
Exactly. Any digital interface is inferior to analogue controls, unfortunately digital nonsense is all that's on offer for these units.
Acccording to choice it’s safer to use ceramic non stick like the ninja 11 or 15 in 1 rather than teflon.
The instant pot comes with a stainless steel inner pot.
This is a very goofy looking appliance.
Having mine (8L) since 2021 and it's still working. I actually use it for roasting and air frying more often than slow/pressure cooking and find it works as good as expected.
However, every now and then I get the "lid open" error message during air fry operation, likely caused by loosing contact between the lid and the body, and have to tweak the lid a bit to make it works again. A few times, after finishing the air frying cycle, I removed the lid just to find it's completely cool inside with no heat at all, so I think it's time to get a replacement.
Just about to hit order for this one then I noticed it's smaller size (5.7L). Changed to the 8L one, which is exactly the same model as my current one but cheaper (I paid $219 in 2021).
If you have a larger family, 100% get the larger 8L model.
Also 8L model: $182 (was $389)
