  • What's the usual price?

    • $2,757.84 according to the linked page

    • +1

Usual price: $500-900 on gumtree (V2).

By the way, the V2 and V3 literally aren't different other than aesthetics (so I was informed by staff).

These are a good pram. A good pram is important for the parents, but your baby doesn't care they just want your presence.

Summed up: don't get fooled into buying new, save yourself $1000.

PS: when buying second hand, checks the brakes go on and off easily, that's one of the few issues that I know of with these. Also I have no confidence in the skateboard staying put if you're buying for that future option. Based on our experience.
Oh yeah nearly forgot: they did upgrade the clips that attach the bits together, they used to supply the new versions for free so presumably you can still contact them for the newer parts

  • Would baby bunting price beat?

  • Unfortunately they removed this morning the damaged box versions in Noa with bassinet - was $1649.

  • I bought a similar second hand one for $80 on Facebook marketplace, don't buy em new!

    • What brand?

    • +5

As someone who has had 4 kids and spent way to much money on prams, I could not agree more. Try second hand stuff.

The baby companies make you feel bad about not having the best of the best for your child. We bought so many things that we never or hardly used.

    • I understand the sentiment, but I am curious about how similar exactly they were for that incredible price difference

      • +1

The $80 one is probably the older version (v1). Lots on fb marketplace. Being able to find a vista v2/v3 on fb marketplace for $80 would be a diamond in the rough (or the frame has some damage and seller had it replaced under warranty by the manufacturers)

        • Exactly. V1 has differences to V2.
V2 and V3 no functional difference, only aesthetic.
However they did upgrade the clips that attach the bits together after the V2 initial release, contact them for the parts if you have the old version.

As per my above comments, check the brakes (they are part of the chassis, they can't be repaired, whole chassis needs replacing and the supporting company are great and may offer a discount but even so it's still expensive).

When I was a kid my mom used a shopping cart with some blankets in it hahaha

Better off layby at Baby Bunting, waiting for a sale to price beat and purchasing it with TCN gift card when they're on sale.

For context: I bought this V3 pram in greyson back in Nov 2024 for about $1,372 with the Bassinet. (The Memo at the time had a sale, Baby Bunting price beat it so brought it down to $1,614 + TCN Coles gift cards for 15% and bring it down to $1,372.

Nice idea sure but 6 years ago I bought V2 for $550 off gumtree (bassinet plus both seats), extra $80 for a skateboard. 4 years later I sold it for $500 after throwing the skateboard away.

Just saying don't get caught up in the buying new cycle, but yeah thanks for eventually supplying the second hand market with stock.

  • good deal. woolworths has TCN Deluxe on sale this week

  • yeah too much i paid 800 for a bugaboo fox 5 from fbmp 6 months old

  • The pram costs more than the kid!

  • +2

Got a v2 for free from the facebook pay it forward groups. They are very sturdy prams

  • You can find v1 with rumble seat <$500 in Facebook Market.

  • +2

V2 can be had on marketplace for $600 in great condition, average condition for $350-$500.

Even less if you're patient/have time

Me and my wife love the Uppababy Vista. Had a reds baby before it, but build quality was much better on the Uppababy as well as a few design decisions were advantageous, such as the Uppababy when in tandem still allowing use of the basket where in the reds the lower seat basically cut it off which was a huge inconvenience.

Recommended, although we got ours second hand from a family friend for a few hundred rather than buying new. Worth checking marketplaces or GumTree.

  • One thing, it's a heavy and long pram so the weight distribution makes it very hard to get up non-mountable kerbs.

We had this item and do recommend it but if you're tiny it might not work for you.

the expo sales are fake sales usually

If you can wait, wait for 5/10/15% off sale at baby bunting saying that I think it just passed

you can price match + get 5% cheaper then stack the extra 5/10/15% off

youll likely need to show them the T&C

heres the past post for the V2 at the time

Just to add before you buy this, we made the choice to get the cruze the higher seat actually has a higher load rating so you'll have to have the newborn/younger baby in the bottom seat

also make an observation of how many people actually have this pram vs how many use the second seat

  • Babies and weddings, marketing subliminal messages, you have to spend a lot if you love your baby/ partner.

    Simply not true

Buy second hand, function over how it looks.

    Plenty of prams out there.

Don't be fooled into thinking you need to spend big to show you love your child.
