Cheapest V60 card that I have ever seen on amazon. 128GB V60 card usually costs more than this. Not sure about the quality though as I have never used Lexar before.

  • Lexar are generally very good. Thanks for the post.

    Lexar are top tier.

In the rPi community they're one of the few brands that have survived every stress test.

    Very nice.

  • Thanks for sharing, does anyone happen to know if it comes with a uhs-ll SD card adapter?

    Thanks

Thanks OP, I have now looked up what all the different symbols mean https://progradedigital.com/symbols-on-sd-cards-explained/
    Think I will get one.

  • can I use this for Nintendo Switch 2 ? Thanks

    • Unlikely. That needs an express card.

    • No, you need MicroSD Express cards

Tempted to buy this to replace my defective SanDisk Extreme 256GB from the last Amazon US deal. It worked for about a week then locked to read only.

  • Wondering if it's robust enough for a dashcam…

No, you want a sandisk max endurance or similar.

They're 3D TLC NAND operating in pMLC mode, so they'll last ages.

    • You absolutely can. I've used endurance ones and I've used basic branded ones. They will work. However, the consideration is that slower ones may not be up to the task of recording high bit-rate + high resolution + high framerate.

While it's prudent to buy the ideal sd card for the task and longevity, I think people place too much importance or exaggerate the necessity to factor in TBW/endurance metrics.

  • Would this work well with a ROG Ally X? Or overkill?

Is it better than extreme pro?

    • +1

      In user reliability testing, much.

  • is there a good/small USB C to MicroSDXC reader?
Would be good to use this between my laptop and iPad.

  • Will this suit a Tapo doorbell hub?

    • Does it record/write constantly? Better off getting an endurance card as it's a similar use case to a dash cam.

It would definitely work, but I'd rather not risk a shorter rated lifespan. YMMV.

  • Lexar are crap. Don't let your 10yr memory trick you. I've had 3 full size SD silver/pro 1667x fail since 2022. Amazon replaced and replaced, til I gave up. Used in a camera, not high usage at all.
