These used to be my go to favourites, but with the prices climbing so much recently, I’m not sure they’re worth it anymore. Looks to be my last stock up for a while

Edit: Thanks WhereThouArt I have also added to title that seems to be a number of flavours on deal

  • Thanks OP

Seems like a few other flavours are priced the same for Prime Day deals

  • Thanks OP

  • these are tasty and great value

  • Ive only recently started having these, and only buy them from colesworth when theyre half off. Still think theyre too expensive,.

How much cheaper were they earlier?

      They were $4.58 a bar. Now gone up to $5.30 a bar….

If they didn't add these, then I'd buy a pallet ..

    Sweeteners (Erythritol, Sucralose, Steviol Glycosides)

    • I mean I don't care about sucralose or Stevia but I have no idea why they started adding sugar alcohols.

They were basically the only brand not adding them. At least it's not maltitol but I knew they changed it some time ago because my stomach would immediately feel upset a few hours later.

      • it's so hard to find a simple plain protein bar .. i.e. no natural sugars and no artificial sugars.

not every item of food that we eat has to taste like junk food.

it's so hard to find a simple plain protein bar

Because without sugar/sweeteners, they would taste bad and people wouldn't buy them.

        • You can always make your own. There are tons of recipes online, and you can use your own unflavoured whey protein without sweeteners.

          • @Ozybargdias: good idea .. should look into that .. love my unflavoured hydrolyzed whey protein isolate .. just need to turn it into a bar to eat at work!

FWIW you can just get a pack with subscribe and save, and just cancel when you get it for 10% off. The cookie dough flavour is pretty nice

  • Muscle Nation ones on sale for around $25. Anyone tried these?

I just mix a scoop of protein powder into Greek yogurt and psyllium husk. Not a bar but tastes nice and is healthy and easy. Can mix teaspoon or creatine in their too.

I make - Protein powder, psyllium husk, peanut butter, creatine, almond flour, crushed brazillian nuts, some walnuts and other seeds…make a dough, refrigerate it and then cut into pieces.
