In the unlikely case that there is anyone here who has not join TCB yet!

For the referral to be successful, your friend must click on your unique Tell-a-Friend link And sign up to the site on that click-through.
For the Tell-a-Friend bonus to be applied to your account, your friend must authenticate their TopCashback account And reach a minimum cashback threshold of $10 cashback.
The cashback must be pending in your friend’s account within 180 days from the time and date they joined topcashback.com.au.
Your bonus will become Payable when your friend has a minimum of $10 cashback at Payable status.

    Compared to Cashrewareds and ShopBack, TopCashback seem to take the longest to get ur cash.. once cash is even confirmed still months of waiting till its withdrawable.

      Depends. I've had cashback approved and payable with TCB within 2 weeks of purchase.

      The true gold star benefit of TCB is you have @tightarse as the rep and he has definitely Got Your Back if things go awry.

        Couldn't agree more with this. Personally TCB is my new favourite and most reliable.
        I previously swore by Cash rewards but they've gone way downhill I'm my experience.

          cahrewards and shopback keeps getting worse and worse. 17 business days for a response to a dispute about incorrect cashbacks which happened 5 months ago - have to hunt down my reciepts and try to find out which cashbacks i was going for. i honestly think their strategy is for you to give up.

            I would rate TopCashback > ShopBack > Cashrewards

            I rarely use Cashrewards and have stopped posting Cashrewards offers recently due to errors in the offers. No response from support or 17 business days for a response. I also waited 7 months for cashback to be paid from Cashrewards for a missing cashback claim, after contacting them a few times. Receipt was sent in the first month.

            TopCashback is the most reliable one with TA providing the best service.

    I just sign in today actually. Was always against cashback websites but found out I can get a fair bit back on a big purchase on redballoon, with $15 referral signup too, great deal.

    Too bad I just purchased for a couple hundred on Ebay a few days ago.

    no real incentive to sign up, the referrer gets more money than the referee who is actually doing all the spending

        Families ie relatives in different household. Otherwise could be viewed as self-referral and accounts could be closed.

          Oh right - well I referred my wife and it worked fine. Maybe she used her work computer, cant remember now. Oh and we did Revolut too that was $130 from memory. We just bought groceries or shared it some way like that but it's a valid point trixib - it could bite people if that don't take care.

            @King Tightarse: To clarify, TCB is fine with 2 persons in the same household as there are many husband and wife OzBargainers with TCB. However more than 2 could be an issue. I read that TCB had closed 4 accounts in the same household.

    If someone signs up under your referral, is there any notification sent or anything visible on your account that they did? Or not until they make a qualifying purchase?

    I referred someone who said they signed up and it would nice to know it was under my referral.

      On the landing page(?) of the app there is a Refer A Friend tile, tap on that and it loads the website and you can see your referral activity.
