70

Get a Free ticket to the inaugural Light Commercial Motor Show at the ICC Sydney from 7-10 August!

Valued at $28 per ticket, you can get free tickets through this link by filling in your company and work details, it already has the 100% off code in it! I just got a ticket sent to my email :)

Perfect for businesses, fleet managers, etc. From their website: "The Light Commercial Motor Show is Australia’s first-ever event dedicated to the vehicles that keep our country moving - from heavy-duty Utes and 4x4s to people movers, vans, and trucks under 4.5 tonnes.

Spanning four dynamic days, this unique event provides a gateway for both B2B and consumer audiences. From fleet managers and business owners looking for commercial vehicle solutions to weekend warriors and families - this is the perfect event for anyone ready to upgrade their ride.

Whether you're choosing your next fleet vehicle or finding something that works for both weekdays and weekend adventures, see it all in one high-impact, hands-on event."

I can see they've got some great vehicles on display, including the KIA Tasman, BYD Shark 6, all Farizon models, Ford F-150 Lightening, Volkswagen Amarok, Toyota HiLux and more!

  • Why would they have the F-150 Lightning on display if it isn't even sold here?

    • create buzz

      it may come

ive seen a fair few LHD variants of cars at shopping centers and the like

'its coming, put down a deposit'

    • It is sold by AusEV and they do the RHD conversion.

      • I think it's targeted mostly at fleet buyers not private customers, though. And imported in very small numbers.

  • +1

    https://www.futuredriveauto.au/syd/lcms25/exhibitors

the 'offical' exhibitor list kinda eats shit

there's only VW and Ssangyong who are now KGM

there's also "HSP" (halal snak pak?)

the masthead pic makes it look like all the urban assault vehicles will be there like Ineos Hilux and the new Tasman

    • Possibly not good for proper research, but these kinds of shows are, to me, extra entertainment options as part of just getting out. Just another reason to get out to Darling Harbour on a random Saturday and go for a walk and get some sun. Might learn something about light commercial vehicles, might not, who cares - it's free.

      • i agree - when i working in the cbd i'd often just call a half day at work or whatever and just have a wander around maybe catch a late meal and go home
