anyone on here own one? Can say it superior quality??
there some available but shipping alone is expensive.. more than the trolley jack itself… so making it double the price..
Need to know if it's worth it. Thankyou for your time.

Agree 100%
Why not this ToolPRO Low Profile Trolley Jack 1600kg for $78? or ToolPRO Hybrid Aluminium/Steel Trolley Jack 2000kg for $197?
Trust with the brand
But you trust something on ebay with a brand called Pro Lift? I've never had a problem with any of the ToolPro stuff. At least, if you have issues, you can return to the store. Good luck trying to deal with the eBay Seller for anything.
I've got an original SCA Silver one for probably 10 years, and its still going strong.
Ebay is the offical taiwan company
Whatever jack you get - make sure you're also using quality stands IF you're getting under the raised vehicle.
Do not be one of the handful of backyard mechanics who each year leave a terrible mess for their loved ones to find when the vehicle comes down on them. Only saying as sadly it's very much true and many folks continue to feel a jack alone is perfectly safe. It's not.
Which is a good jack stand? Ratchet or pins or both? And link? Thx
I would suggest something with Pins.
What is the estimated weight of the vehicle you are raising?
1350kg
@ilove: These from Repco are probably the cheapest. Repco has some on special at the moment.
It's more of a safety mechanism if the jack were to fail or slip that there is a stand there. Ideally you want the stand and the jack at the same height.
@geekcohen: Yup, my SCA ones are near identical - bet they came from the same factory!
The weight rating is PER STAND so a 1350kg car is going to be easily held up by stands that are 1500kg EACH!
As I said, whatever is on special is always a very good idea in my book.
@geekcohen: I mean they're more than a safety mechanism. For a lot of home mechanic tasks you need to have more than 1 lift point being used - i.e you might have all the tyres off as you bleed the brakes or rotate the tyres.
A jack can only do one at a time - but stands (and I have 2 pairs) you can have the entire vehicle up, which makes it much easier than just the jack. But yes, as you note the stands are essentially fool proof (if you use them correctly)…..the jack can just fail without any user error etc.
I concur, pins are better IMHO - fool proof, some ratchet ones have had issues.
A good car stand is one thats on sale (they are regularly heavily discounted) and is well and truly rated above any vehicle you're thinking of getting i.e do not buy entry level ones IF you're hankering for a RAM in a years time etc).
Buy them once and you can hand them on to your kids…..mine have paid for themselves many times over - and I just have general entry level ones from SCA.
On the jacks….your price range is good - again depends on your vehicle but entry level ones are a tad shoddy and the really pricey ones are overkill. Get whatevers on special in the mid range with the weight ability to suit your needs.
And again stating the obvious but all this is wasted if you're not doing basic stuff like ensuring you ONLY do on a hard and flat surface etc. and KNOW the proper weight bearing jack up points on your vehicle.
Which is a good jack stand?
Couplea bricks or the rims off your car under the edges.
In all seriousness though, ones with quality pins.
I used to have a ramp.. from mechpro.. thing is I find is if you drive halfway up and land not exactly at the last point you stuck with the ramp in the air..
Ramps are good too - perhaps better for some cars &/or owners home setups - but I sold mine off as they were hitting my bumper when I went up them. But definitely a very good and safe option to have instead of stands.
For something big, bulky and requiring a level of safety, ill pick something locally stocked at a local shop rather that trusting the ebay quality lottery.
If the price is close enough there is no gokd reason to buy somthing like a trolley jack from a random brand online. You want to be able to return it without dealing with expensive shipping and know that it meets relevant australian standards. Local shops have serious consequnces for not selling uo to standard goods. Ebay sellers can disappear and rebrand overnight dodging any responsibility.
they the ebay are the company
Wha?
the ebayer are the company of pro-lift
@ilove: The ebayer are a third party that applies sfickers to whatever they can find at a good price in china?
Just because they paid for branding a product, doesnt mean they won't disappear overnight if 'their product' goes wrong.
Sounds like your clearance is part of the low life club. I had that problem with my Commodore and had a low profile jack for that.
I have that exact jack. I have had no issues and I would recommend it. Do you have any specific questions?
Is the retail $390?
any knowledge of the price?
… lowered height of 280mm
This Deal for $99 is cheaper even with Delivery (for me at least) - $160.89 delivered.
