@CodeXD: yeah one less but no big deal, I couldn't eat it all because it was dry and it had too many heavy fillers with those horrible chips and fake mashed potatoes. Feel disgusting after attempting to eat this oily yet dry crap. It was so so bad!!!
Doordash recently introduced a policy that gives business the option of matching their store prices on doordash (not allowed to charge extra on doordash) or be punished not appearing high up in search results. Many businesses (like KFC) jacked their in-store prices to cover these costs. In-store customers are now paying the price for this.
Same story with the reject shop and Aldi looks set to do the same.
When deal went live, it was spend $20 to get free box, and the value of the free box was included in that $20. So order the zinger box and add cheese onto burger = $20.45 and you can apply the $19.95 discount.
Yes, I did get one. Just saying if someone is order $40 or more family meal etc they could avail this add on if they have the DoorDash/Amazon pass

I had a manager at kfc said that, Yum has flagged my account for fraud. KFC Customer Service finally responded to my message.
"Thank you taking the time to contact us.
Upon investigation I can see that your payment was blocked by the payment gateway.
I apologise as there is nothing further we can do."
That was it. Very disappointing, considering my wife, and daughter faced the same payment issue.
I order kfc for the family at least 2-3 times a week and sick off having to explain myself twice and demonstrate the error each time I go in.

I got this last night, as expected all the chicken pieces were super dry, including the drum sticks. Explains why it's 9 pieces for $9.95 though :)

Mine was huge, those nine pieces couldn't fix in the box. As usual chuck em in the air fryer.

Hit and miss really, even with the same KFC store (I couldn't bring myself to use the term 'restaurant' for KFC haha).
This is true and I travel further to get my KFC from the Artarmon (NSW) store because they have Hot and Spicy available permanently.

Do they have the chicken thigh in the mix anymore ?? My last two 9 pieces deal only have the breast and the wings and drumsticks and I absolutely hate chicken breast so if they don't have thigh in the mix I will pass the next week 9 piece deal.

they gave me like 8 out of 10 pieces were thighs because they said it was like 20 minute wait for hot and spicy

Sometimes for tiny wings my store counts 2 as one piece. Thank you random kfc stranger.
Wow that's some BS, it's like they just fobbed off the leftovers to you after giving the good pieces to someone before you.
Happened to me too. Happens when they are running low and you can't be bothered waiting 12mins for the next batch to be ready and they ask for the last few pieces to be substituted. My advice is, if you can, wait.
Just tell them to give you only the thigh pieces. Definitely don't get the beast because it's soooooooo dry!
Last night order was 1 large piece of breast close to the neck, 2 small pieces of the breast near the tip, 3 drumsticks and 3 wings, last week was similar. Next time if I go, I am going to the counter to order but not via the app so that I can tell the attendant I want at least 2 pieces of thigh in exchange of the breast !
tell them you want only the thigh pieces

just a warning, took me 33 minutes yesterday trying to get the 9 pieces for $9.95, drive through was choked and in-store was similar.. kinda regretted it and ended up walking away with wings instead of the original order as wait time was too long..
Last night, I ordered two of 9 for $9.50, one from my phone app and the other one from my wife’s phone. I did the same thing last week.
I should order the third one from my teenage son’s phone, lol.Can never 'Add to Order' anyone else ever experience this? Its only been for the July deals. Never not worked previously.
