Best China 5" phone?

Considering the new Kogan Agora phone. They've always been a great company to me, responding to warranty quickly and politely.
Gave me the benefit of the doubt when I was 4 days OUT of warranty.
Made me a custom discount code when I emailed and just asked for 'a little help', and so on.

But the 512mb of ram worries me. I'll never play games on this thing, its a phone, not a console to me. I just want to make sure that for my $150 its the best solution.

The other option is the StarN8000, but its a little more expensive, and hs an analogue TV tuner instead of a stylus, which will just be useless in a few months.

Whats out there people?

  • Might risk a 4.5" being big enough, but no one online has yet confirmed the actual frequencies for this phone.

actual gorilla glass is awesome, however, originally it listed quadband 3G, and now it claims 2100mhz only. I wonder if it only got one licence in china, so just took the words down and the features remain?

  • Isn't the Star N8000 the same as the Kogan Agora but without the TV tuner?

The clips on YouTube of the N8000 look good. 512MB Ram may not be an issue as I didn't notice any lag when the user was changing between applications, playing games and saved clips on the phone. Also an internet browser comparison between the N8000 and Note 2 seemed very close.

I think for the price the Agora is pretty unbeatable especially if it is infact a similar version of the N8000. I'd still invest an extra $29 for the 5 year extended warranty just incase. Even if it's replaced in future, you could use it at home as a mini tablet?
