They were showing the promo this afternoon in the app but it had no code attached and couldn't be clicked to view more details.

    • +2

Yea, saw the code on my Afterpay app; not Uber Eats.

Can't find a store it works at

Ah found the issue. You can't pay any portion with gift balance

Works with Ding Dong deals even though it says excludes promotions

  • +1

Is it certain stores OP? Not showing on Coles.

    • Yea, says "participating merchants." I haven't used the offer yet, but when I click Shop Now on the offer, I do see Coles on the list?

  • Thanks OP

  • This is great for me! Give me more jobs!

The very last stage of capitalism, i think all thats left is being let loose in an arena to fight to the death over a burger

        Which streaming platform? Any deals?

Was thinking the same thing. This is some crazy level dystopian nightmare

Imagine using a credit service to purchase things, this is the end as we know it!!!

Next thing will have cards to purchase things with money we don't have, maybe loans to purchase cars and homes!!!

      • Tbf it's not farfetched. I've seen people use their Zip and Afterpay cards to pay for groceries

    • Afterpay goes against your credit report now. So it's totally not worth it.

  • Thanks OP. Was able to schedule dinner for tomorrow

Cannot add Afterpay to my account, was you able to add it to Uber Eats?

    • +1

I had no problem, but doesn't seem worth it with usual 10% more for items plus delivery and service fee of at least $10 if you don't have a subscription cancels the $10 discount

    • +2

I have the same issue. I found a solution. You just need to add AP into the Uber app instead, then go back to the Ubereat, add in promo code and that should work.

      • +3

I also tried Uber app, same failed error 😩

      • Thank you! Clicking the add Afterpay promo on the Uber Eats home screen on my desktop browser didn't work even trying different browsers.

Adding in the app worked fine.

  • Ordered a big breakfast, thanks op.

Can I place my order using Afterpay then switch payment option to GC and still get $10 off?

    • Good question.. annoying I can’t use GC balance but understandable since this is an Afterpay promo

    • Possibly. I had an offer of using apple pay previously and was able to switch payment method afterwards without losing discount.

    • +2

Just switched payment method to uber cash. Promo was still applied.

Taking out a loan to get uber eats is insane

    • +2

Not much different if you pay with credit card

  • +1

yeah I'd like to divide my burrito into 4 payments.

    • +3

I did that, I paid for the lasagne I had in two months, when I see my bank statement, I had almost forgotten what was the payment initially done for!

  • You can also switch old orders to use Afterpay instead of your credit card.

Cant wait to finance my 3 dim sims

    • hahahaaha

  • Can't use with Commbank Yello free Uber One. When you switch off your CommBank card, you lose your UberOne benifits, which almost negates the entire $10

    • same happened to me, then i picked up to get the discount instead of delivery

      • Yeah I ended up switching from a $6 delivery restaurant to $2 lol

  • Changed to after pay and the delivery fee jumped up to $10

    • probably you have uber one tied to a bank card, probably from a different mastercard or cba deal

      • -1

I do, but this particular restaurant wasn't an Uber one restaurant, so would've had to pay for delivery regardless.
Found a different place where the deal worked and delivery was covered by Uber one. So still a good deal if you can find the right place

  • thanks, just worked for me and used with pickup

Interesting Uber still finding new ways to screw everyone

Like most here, only order when there are deals on

  • I cannot see Afterpay as a payment option. Zip Pay is there. anyone know how to add it?

    • +1

      Are you using the App?

      • yes

        • +3

Might be obvious, but is the app updated?

  • stacked a 2 for 1 offer and got two pad kee mao's delivered for $17. thx op

  • Anyone managed to use it more than once?

It’s coming up for a third time for me… lucky me but I don’t want so much take away but I can’t say no to a bargain!

    • I did use it twice now I can't use it

  • Did anyone manage to switch payment to Uber Cash after receiving their delivery?

    • Yes

      • +1

Has your afterpay payment for that order cancelled/gone?

        • +1

Yes it gets credited back to your Afterpay account or back to your original credit card linked to Afterpay

  • Very useful to know, thanks.

  • Went to pay and got invalid payment method and now afterpay is just showing as unavailable

  • Doesn’t seem to work. $10 off not being applied.

    • Are you spending more than $25?

      • Tried to schedule it for another date but seems like that was why it wasn’t working. Thanks!
