I had no problem, but doesn't seem worth it with usual 10% more for items plus delivery and service fee of at least $10 if you don't have a subscription cancels the $10 discount
I have the same issue. I found a solution. You just need to add AP into the Uber app instead, then go back to the Ubereat, add in promo code and that should work.
I also tried Uber app, same failed error 😩

Possibly. I had an offer of using apple pay previously and was able to switch payment method afterwards without losing discount.
Just switched payment method to uber cash. Promo was still applied.

Can't use with Commbank Yello free Uber One. When you switch off your CommBank card, you lose your UberOne benifits, which almost negates the entire $10

Changed to after pay and the delivery fee jumped up to $10
probably you have uber one tied to a bank card, probably from a different mastercard or cba deal
I do, but this particular restaurant wasn't an Uber one restaurant, so would've had to pay for delivery regardless.
Found a different place where the deal worked and delivery was covered by Uber one. So still a good deal if you can find the right place
