Superloop NBN: $120 Cashback for Purchase of a New Service @ Cashrewards

210

I know CR doesn't have a great rep around here anymore but I haven't had an issues. I just signed up for Superloop's 50/20 plan and I received the tracking email from CR within 1 minute.

A unique offering from Superloop is the 5 free speed boosts per month, for me that takes my plan up to 100/40. As I'm stuck on FTTC with no free upgrade path, that's the max speed I can get.

Speed Promo price On-going price Price after CB
50/20 $65 $85 $45
100/20 $75 $95 $55
100/40 $85 $99 $65
250/25 $89 $104 $69
250/100 $85 $99 $65
1000/50 $85 $109 $65

Plans available at each address may vary.

When do you get $120 cash back? It seems to be $20 difference between your promo price and price after cashback. Or do you get $20 each month for 6 months or something?

    • I signed up for similar deal at the start of the year, and cashback took about 3 months to be approved. Its a flat payment of $120.

    • terms says "upto 95 days"

    • $120 cash back at once. I wasn’t clear in the OP, Superloop has a promo price for the first 6 months. Price after cash back is the $120 spread over 6 months. I’ll be churning again after 6 months.

I just spent 6 months with Exetel. That was $66 per month for 6 months and $100 cash back. Equivalent of $49.33 per month.

Appreciate post but recently CR have been the worst of big 3 wrt to payout. The amount of effort I had to go to get a cashback recently just wasn’t worth it

  • Damn.. signed up with Topcashback $105 cashback offer.. should have waited

    • +2

I think you are better off with that. CR has been a hit or miss lately and mostly miss for me

at least with TCB the tracking is almost guaranteed.
      I'd rather a guaranteed $105 than a maybe $120.

      • CB has no min. period to stay in the plan whereas topcash requires you to stay on for 90 days mins. So with CB you can stay for 1mths and churn for the next deal and still get the $120.

    • Lol same

If the cashback promo ca.e out the same day, you can price beat cashback rate with TCB

Keep in mind superloop/exetel require you to give 30 days notice to cancel your service (which you have to call up to do). If you churn out and rely on your service automatically cancelling when a new service is transferred, be aware that they will try to invoice you. Scummy.

No longer true for The One Exetel plan.
You can give notice via the app (button) and it’s now notify before end of period rather than the full 30 days.

      • Yep, someone over at Superloop/Exetel finally put their thinking cap back on. 😝

      • Hang on, Exetel doesn't let you choose 100/20 anymore?

The have 1 plan. “The one” and it’s 500/50 for $80.

      • I was going to churn to Superloop but checked Cashrewards and CR was also doing $120 for Exetel so I churned to Exetel on their $80 One Plan instead ^^. Unfortunately I tried the Ozbargain Random referral generator and it said "Not One Plan Referrer" so will have to talk to the mods about updating it and asking everyone to resubmit.

        • The new referral is only $1 off per month, barely worth it.

  • You can check the NBN guess-timate of when your address will upgrade to FTTP. I have tested the Speed boost at 2 different FTTC addresses, and 50/20 was stable, but activating the 100/40 speed boost was far too flaky (disconnecting every 15/20 minutes)

  • I just signed up two days ago for the 100/20. My fault for not checking any cashback :(

  • Cashback is only $85 in the app? Or am I missing something? edit: this is for econnex

    • That’s “Superloop via Econnex”, search for “Superloop”. It’s still there in my iOS app.
      Edit: ninja’d

  • Does anyone know if I can subscribe today but activate the service by the end of the month, will I still be eligible for the cashrewards cashback?

    • Yep should be, that's my plan.

    • I did that, set activation date to be at later date, had to enter payment info though, probably for validation. CR tracked fine.

Signed up. Tracked in less than a minute.

Tracking is fast af! Thanks OP

  • is superloop better or exetel?

    • Same company. Different plans. Exetel only offers one plan now.

  • Just signed up. Superloop requesting serial number and MAC address of the NBN box. It's just a simple port from Exetel to Superloop.

Is this a common thing? No other providers asked for this information except for Superloop.

    • I've been with SL before and haven't had it. I got it the same as you this time. I provided it, guess it's easier for them…

  • This shows expired but is still active on CR and says expires 2 days. Just signed up and tracked immediately at the $120

It seems to be coming and going.

  • Signed up yesterday, $120 tracked immediately.

  • is that new customers only? I am currently on superloop if I cancel and renable will that work?

    • Yep, new SL customers. You have to give 30 days notice to cancel.

  • When I click through from Cashrewards I get a broken link.. tried many browsers and devices.

    Anyone have same problem?

(Also same issue on TopCashback for Superloop as well…)

EDIT: May be my internet/modem config.. if I switch to mobile (not wifi) it works

    • Do you have some kind of router level ad blocking?

Used topcashback and started claim for topcashback highest cashback guarantee.
