Cant use ecovacs products. Software is dogshit
App had lots of issues last time I tried to set up my parents vacuum.
It would randomly "forget" maps already set up with schedule etc. And you'd have to re-do the whole mapping, set it all up again etc . Was extremely frustrating and time wasting to say the least.
Literally had to throw mine out because the remote corroded and the app wouldnt recognise the vacuum anymore.
Lucky it was a cheap shit one.
Did you save/backup your Maps? It may help..
I had N8 before and did not have any issue(used for 2 years)….I am using T50 pro now and used for 100 odd hrs and haven't had issue of mapping till now..
I use the cleaning scenario/ custom clean instead of AUTO clean.(I think Auto cycle will update the map every time and might create issue).
T50 pro is only AUD650 in China. Thinking about importing one, however not sure if the app works for the Chinese model.
I have one from China. You need a Chinese phone number for product activation and the app is not that responsive. I think their server is in China and the connection isn't that great.

Started looking at these as soon as the Prime sales finished. Are these okay or should I be looking elsewhere? Want it for combination of tiles (70%) and carpets. Mainly just grass and leaves that the Schnauzer brings in. I like to run the mop over daily along with sweeping atm.
To anyone considering ECOVACS, I took one for the team, I tried 3 of their vacuum products and they were all shit. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Which one did you get?
I've had 2 and theyve been fine personally.
I would never pay ful price though. Got the n8 a few years back (3-4) for 299.
Got the t10 for about 399 2 years ago.
Roborock or Dreame are the usually recommended models. I got the Qrevo L model during prime day for 759 and it has been fantastic.
Yeah i may try a different brand. Might wait until my one craps out first tho. Self washing mops looks neat!
