    Yeah nah

Screen: 720p HD resolution image up to 65" LCD projector system

Honestly that's not as bad as 100 Lumens. I mean 720p and 65" is at least watchable.

    Landfill or cartoons.

100 lumens and 720p. Wouldn't be bright enough in complete darkness.

  • Philips is the name to avoid for most of the categories these days

    • Hue lights the exception I assume?

Most of the products that Philips no longer owns.
They are running on a licensing model for the TM, so many of them, including the after-sales, are handled by third parties.

I think the two major business fields that Philips owns are medical equipment and toothbrushes.

        PS: Google answered the following

While Philips Hue is a brand of smart lighting products, it is not directly owned by Philips. Philips Lighting, which originally created Philips Hue, was spun off into a separate company called Signify in 2016. Signify then rebranded Philips Lighting to Signify in 2018, but still continues to produce Philips Hue products. Therefore, Philips Hue is owned by Signify, not Philips.

        • Had no idea… knew philips only made a few things… but i thought Hue was still under the philips banner.

What about literally for the inside of a tent when camping - really low expectations here, i just want it to be watchable?

    • +1

Would work 100% I have a first gen Nebula Capsule for camping with the kids and it has less lumens than this and it works at like 80 inches.

      • Why this when you get a everycom hq10w for $250-$400. Or a Magcubic HY320 or HAQU K2 for $100-$150.

    Great for watching Minecraft

Cool gift for a young kid. Might grab one and put it away for the next birthday.

    • +2

I feel like I'd rather the $80 as a kid haha

  • Surely it's worth buying and testing? It just might be better than expected; if not then JB have a good return policy.
