Our traditional door bell with intercom stopped working. Instead of getting it repaired I was thinking of getting ready to install (no screw) modern bells.
I found two options:
A. Ring $150
You can see in your phone the video on free but no recording.
B. Very simple one where it's literally just a loud door bells
Just wondering what is go to for ozbargain community. Pretty much need like your tapo camera where it rings bell, you can record to micro SD card and no monthly subscription
Our old bell had an incredible range of tunes. The speaker was OK and tunes rotated. Kids in the street loved it!
To me, bells that send images to your phone are oversell. I don't need it. A simple wireless bell that has the inside unit plugged into a 240V socket works fine. Depending on personal circumstances, you may need something different. Start by thinking why you need to see on your phone screen, who it is who rang the doorbell.

aosu have a doorbell that does everything you need. No subscription required. Lasts a month on a charge.
I've owned the 'B' option for over 3 years and it's fantastic.
I've got the receiver at the back of the house and the button on my front gate and despite it being a fair distance between the two, it works great.
Don't get a Ring, you will get trapped by subscription after a trial period.
I got one that runs on the Grid app from Bunnings and saves footage and can send notifications to your phone if movement detected for preview. You can answer remotely and talk to whoever is there. And the best part is NO SUBSCRIPTION FEE.

The Tapo D230S1 that was recently on Ozbargain would have fit your requirements to a tee. Got one myself in the deal and can confirm it does all it says.
