Recently purchased this and can vouch for it. Was looking for a navy colour and noticed the green is discounted to $29.99. Worth it for the price, a decent step up from Kmart/target alternatives.

The material is 300gsm according to Macpac site. That’s pretty substantial. M size is 423g.
Thin for a crew sweater. Can wear in summer.

This may be too thin for Compound, but 300gsm isn’t thin material at all. I have some Hard Yakka work pants that are 300gsm, those boiz are too heavy for summer.
I've got the slate and the navy ones and they're pretty comfortable/warm. Happy for a cooler day, obviously still need a coat when going outside for a colder one.

Do you think Macpac are aware this $99 top is $29 because of that badge? Nobody wants to be a walking billboard. Okay, $99 is steep… but it's worth more than $29 in this economy.
Surprisingly most people want to be walking billboards.
Marketing capitalises on the fact that people don't know who they are and the fact that a huge majority of people don't have an internal dialogue.
Often depends on the billboard. Also, you could layer this under a jacket in winter and hide the badge if you’re concerned.
Just went and picked up my Order ! Can confirm it is “ light Shuttle Green “ almost like Pastel green in colour not “Grey” that is in Thumbnail .

Quality is meh. ascolour has way better quality imo.

Yes , I have previously purchased the Macpac Jacket from BCF submitted in OzBargain ( thanks for Post ) I am Medium size . And this Macpac crew top is exactly same Size to fit my Body . Somewhere between Medium- Large . also the Quality is well worth it . Given a $30 KMart and Bigw wouldn’t be similar quality or style .
P.s I do own Few similar items from Kmart that looks like Nike tech without a Logo . But this Macpac is next level Feel for $30.
