yes, and no
Friend is confused
Better off purchasing the Ninja Creami Deluxe for mine ($293 or $277 via Amazon Business - one from Amazon Business seems to come with 2 extra tubs so 5 all up) makes decent slushies along with icecream, sorbet and gelato etc.
You do have to freeze them beforehand but no biggie you can purchase a few extra tubs from Amazon as well (around $30 for 4) and have them ready to go for whenever. One tub is more than enough for a couple of people.
It doesn't handle booze as well
Add booze on the respin cycle.
Fair enough, but can't dump as much and it's slower
@Big L: You can't with this as well.
It won't be able to ice the mixture once you reach around 12% ABV.
There's a knock off version at Kogan for $100 less

Looks good! What about microplastics
I don't know where you would go to buy them.
Not my favorite flavor…but by far the most common.
$284. Not quite under 100
Surely this is a very poor way to spend your $$$…?
Better to just go out and buy a slushie every now and then.
You can put booze in these and it still slushes properly
7/11 gets pretty upset when you dump a bottle of rum into their cola slushie.
Kids are very keen on this for xmas having seen what their friends make with theirs.
Waiting for $299 sweet-spot on Black Friday!
Our family gets a lot of use out of ours, we got it in May and the novelty has not worn off yet.
Cheapest been $339.15 @ Good Guys with 15% off. Sub $400 probably worth it if you think you'll use it.

We've used ours quite a lot - its an excellent machine. There's some limitations, biggest one being drinks require certain levels of sugar to freeze; which means for regular use; we're likely going to end up with a family of diabetes - so maybe not excellent from that perspective (there are no-sugar alternatives; haven't tested them vigorously myself - sugar is likely going to taste way better)
Also, if sugar content is too high; it can freeze up; which means it dispenses REAL slowly; best to mix high sugar (i.e. powerade) with a bit of water; or booze.
It does great Frappes, not just slushies - I enjoy Coffee Frappes, so likely to see a long term saving! I've been spiking a few drinks, cherry rum / coke. mojito's, and the like. Kids have tried a bit of coca cola slushie (no alcohol). Looking forward to summer time by the pool!
All in all, its really simple to use; and easy to clean - doesn't need fidgeting around with ice/salt as most of the cheaper machines do.
Protip: Facebook has a Ninja Slushie Group - they have an AI bot on the group, and can add it to FB Messenger for easy quick recipes, just ping it what you want to make, and it'll provide ratio's etc. and also does troubleshooting for any issues when first starting out.
Is it worth it though? Asking for a friend
