Found an Anker powerbank that currently isn't on a recall list (fingers crossed).
Anker A1229
It has USB-C input/output 15W and USB-A IQ.
Micro USB input 12W too. Bit odd but more input options I guess.

Thanks! I figured it's worth mentioning models for Anker posts these days. 😅
A1229 looks ok so far.
It's the A1688.
Not on the recall list.
A1681 and A1689 are on the recall list. Anker is threading the needle a bit. I wonder why A1688 wasn't recalled.🧐
A1688 is only 10,000mAh right? While the recalled ones are 20,000.
The A1688 has 30W output, do will be better (charge your phone twice as fast).
🔥🔥🔥🚒
MICRO USB? What is this, 2010?
some older devices still use micro USB.
my Sony portable speaker from several years ago is still going strong and uses it.
Same as my several years old Bluetooth adaptor i use for my Nintendo 3DS
It supports USB-C input and micro USB.
But yeah, micro USB is a bit long in the tooth.
Ordered. I'll see if it implements USB-C properly. 🤣
USB-C to USB-C works.
USB Meter detected:
Apple 5V/2.4A
DCP 5V/2A
Wouldn't the ALDI one be better value as it output 30w for under 20 bucks?
