Wow amazing price OP. Just as we finished the last of our supplies for home made icecream. Thanks for posting.

I made ice-cream with cottage cheese and Greek Yogurt, instant regret, wasted like half a kilo of pistachios lol never again…

      • I randomly made this just last week to use up a small bag of pistachios in the pantry and it was awesome.

Great. Made pistachio ice cream a few weeks ago and was amazing but the pistachios were not cheap. But at this price plus a few 90% off creams at Woolies during markdown time I will make a big batch :)

  • $23.92 Kg. Is that good? I never buy them, also how fresh are they?

It's very good for kernel, not in shell, pistachios.

The min order of $250 shipping kills the deal for anyone that can't C&C though.

It's the current unit price for non-shelled ones at colesworth.

      • lol not sure why the negs? It's like if boneless chicken were the same unit price as bone-in which would mean the former is pretty good value since you're not paying for the weight of the inedible stuff. I was being positive ……

        • Because you were wildly incorrect about the price of pistachio kernels at Woolies/Coles.

You likely meant to write "in shell" pistachios but you wrote "non-shelled" implying that this deal is the same price as Woolies/Coles for their pistachio kernels.

The price for "non shelled" pistachio kernels at Woolies/Coles is around $60/kg which is nearly triple this deal.

          • @studentl0an: Nah I didn't meant to write "in shell" since the most common usage of 'shelled' nuts or food is literally describing "having the outer case or covering removed". Heck just read the answer here discussing this specific issue. If you asked 100 people on the street upon hearing "I've got some shelled walnuts/hazenuts in my bag" or "you want to eat some of my shelled nuts?" you think they would all interpret it as nuts still in-shell lol?

Oh well ¯\/(ツ)/¯ just another one of those quirks of english ("inflammable means flammable? What a country!") + I guess ozbargainers being a different breed.

Yes, shelled pistachios are usually $35/kg.

  • are these roasted? Sounds like no?

    • -1

You can roast them yourself if you have an oven.

  • Can anyone confirm if they are available at other Harris Farm stores? I might take a detour tomorrow lol

It’s also on sale on UberEats too. It’s slightly more expensive at $3.49 but still great value for those who also have UberOne.

I call BS, they were sold out earlier this evening, and no stock out the back. They said somone just bought them all - might have been you?

          • @elgrande: Why are you taking out your frustration on me? When I purchased, there were many left, and that's what I commented above.

            • -5

@ThePointsGuru: Frustration? The only thing that was frustrated was your plan to waste a heap of peoples time..

  • Wish they'd come to VIC :(
