Is shark a good brand? I started to see this brand on ozbargain recently. Never heard it before.
I got into them recently after looking at reviews, they are also the same company as the Ninja line of Kitchen applicances.
Got a similar vacuum of theirs last year, an upright one similar to this but cost less. I can say it is excellent, and sucks up dirt i didnt even think was in my carpets. The roller head has a cutter mechanism too so pet and long hair get cut up and doesnt get stuck around. The whole thing can be opened and cleaned pretty easily too, to ensure it lasts a good long while.
The only caveat I would say is that is is proabaly heavier than other vaccums, so if you have strength or mobility issues then you wont like it for long.
Looks like the updated version of the Pet XL. I have one of those, replacing a Dyson Animal upright, and I rate it.
Also currently the #1 rated upright vacuum cleaner on vacuum wars, provides more suction than the Dysons available in Australia (since they're pretty much all cordless). Very good find
