serious question. where we can buy powbank with ccc approved? or best is just buy locally during our trip?

    • whats ccc?

      • +1

Power banks brought into China, especially on flights, need to have China Compulsory Certification (CCC), also known as 3C certification, to be compliant with regulations. This certification is mandatory for power banks sold and used within China, including those on domestic flights.

Where do you buy the CCC sticker from?

    • just came back from 2 weeks in china, between 4 devices brought 1 older powerbank because I didn't have any that was ccc certified. I travelled by bullet train in china and on my return they just checked the capacity of my powerbank at the airport and I was able to bring the battery back. The 3C requirement is suppose to be for domestic travel, YMMV.

    Waiting for the down votes.

But remember not all HeyMix products catch fire and yet we all jump on the bandwagon to provide the PSA about HeyMix products catching fire. Same logic applies here given mass recalls of Anker power banks due to faulty batteries. Sure they were only certain batches and from a battery manufacturer outside of Anker but again apply the same logic to HeyMix then.

    • This looks like the model they used to replace the recalled ones for me.

Received this as a replacement from the Anker's recall, not bad but no ccc.

    • came here to say the same thing. Actually prefer this one over the one that I had replaced so not complaining so far. Hopefully these replacements are safe, have an international trip soon!

  • So what's inside these (cell wise)?

What's the most power you can get out of a USB port (looking for a heated vest).

    Cheers

    • Capacity is what you are chasing, but then it gets heavy

      • Capacity..

        Is there 8 x 18650's @ 2500mAh each inside?

Puts them around 2amps each @5V, so 80 watts.

But whats the max wattage down a single USB in these (24 watts)?

        • If your buying a premade jacket then you can't change diddly and capacity matters, if your making one yourself, then fair

  • I returned one of these as mine had pretty poor efficiency for a 72Wh powerbank compared to the ZMI one everyone has.

    • how did you measure efficiency?
