Hey Oz Bargain Community,

The latest shipment of our custom designed bags have finally arrived (this shipment arrived to us close to a month late, so we've been chomping at the bit for this arrival), so I think a coffee party is in order to celebrate tracking finally switching from "in transit" to "delivered" "woohooooooo what a relief!" As a small showing of our sincere appreciation for your patience with us needing to recently go back and forth between custom printed and plain bags due to shipment delays, we're offering you a whopping 50% discount off two of our most loved and delicious (of course a totally unbiased comment from me) Single Origins!

You can score a 50% saving off our famous Brazil São Paulo Single Origin and also our equally wonderful Peru Chanchamayo Grade 1 Organic Single Origin. As an added bonus I've also opened up available future dispatch dates all the way to the 30th of December, so if either of these two are real winners for you, you'll really be able to make the most of this special deal by utilising our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch feature, more details below:

1) Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, only $27.90 per 1kg (usually $55.80 per 1kg) and $15.95 per 500g (usually $31.90 per 500g)

2) Peru Chanchamayo Grade 1 Organic Single Origin, only $27.90 per 1kg (usually $55.80 per 1kg) and $15.95 per 500g (usually $31.90 per 500g)

Deal valid for orders placed until Tuesday 12/08/2025, unless sold out before. Dispatch can happen for you as near as tomorrow and as far as the last Tuesday in December (30/12/2025). Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 72 business hours of roasting
  • We're happy to accommodate dispatch date and click and collect/pickup changes, you just need to select a new dispatch date either via clicking the "Edit or View Your Order" button in the order confirmation page or simply logging into you Lime Blue Coffee account at least the day before the current date you have selected for your order
  • One dispatch per order
  • Please ensure you use the "shipping" dispatch date selector on the cart page if you'd like your order delivered to you and that you use the "click and collect" date/time selector if you'd like to pickup your order. If you plan to pickup your order please ensure you select the "pickup in store" delivery option on the checkout page, as this not only eliminates the shipping fee for you, but also allocates your order to the click and collect system we have in place, so it means you'll receive different notification messaging to assist you towards a smooth pickup experience
  • Any existing orders are unable to be changed from delivery to click and collect due to the different tech systems in place
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packaging (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $4.00 per kg including the discount (normally $8 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be submitted via a reply message to your order confirmation email
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag

FREE SHIPPING for orders over $69. For example, 2x1kg+1x500g AKA 2.5kg of any combination of Brazil and Peru Single Origins via this deal is $71.75 and thus unlocks the highly sought after FREE SHIPPING. Was down to my last bag of Brazil São Paulo beans and starting to get very worried as our house would go into meltdown without this amazing coffee, thank you Tom! 10/10!

      Good morning @dammit !

Fantastic, always love to hear when timing lines up perfectly and glad you didn't have to go searching for the "coffee emergency" button; thank you so much for another fantastic order and that uplifting, super positive 10/10 vote of confidence :) :) :)

  • +2

It's great to know there's such a consistent supply of deals for everyone who enjoys a good cup, especially since I'm getting down to my last bag

    • Music to my ears, thank you so much for the terrific compliment and another fantastic order @Maglia Nera :)

It's wonderful to know we're in your good books and I promise we'll keep working hard to stay there!

Tried LBC's beans last year, haven't needed to go elsewhere since. I bulk buy the deals for free shipping and freeze the excess. Very satisfied customer, recommend anyone on the fence to try them.

    • Ive only been buying one bag at a time and paying for shipping thinking this is the best way to keep the freshness. I freeze what I don’t need from that one bag but I find that towards the end of the bag, the coffee isn’t as good. Do you find a degrade in quality in the freezer overtime for the second and third bag?

Takes me about one month to finish a 1kg bag so 3 month in the freezer if I’m going to get 3 bags to qualify for feee shipping

      • once you take it out of the freezer try to finish it within the week. I split mine into smaller ziploc bags of 250g each which lasts me roughly 1 week and it's been working great for us. When you take the bag out of the freezer, allow it to thaw fully before opening to stop it from oxidising

        • Yeah that’s what I do and after it thaws I put it in one of those airscape canisters, but I still find that towards the end of the 1 kg bag, the coffee doesn’t quite hit the spot like it did earlier. I assume that it’s oxidation playing its part. So never purchased more than one bag at a time

      • +2

The key is knowing that moisture & oxygen are what affect coffee's flavour & freshness the most. I put the bag of beans inside another ziplock bag and ensure as much air as possible is squeezed out before freezing. When I need more beans I only decant enough to fill the grinder and allow it come up to room temperature in a sealed container, then into the grinder it goes. Again, the coffee bean & ziplock bags have air expelled and then straight back into the freezer. I've got beans which are 5 months old and they're still tasting fresh.

      • +1

I bought seven or eight 500g bags of the excellent Brazil São Paulo using the EOFY offer and the free shipping, then froze all but one bag.

Have tactically defrosted a bag every time we run low, and it has kept tasting great. Only trouble is my wife's Kenyan relatives arrived with eight packs of various Kenyan beans in their luggage, so the final two bags of Brazil São Paulo are staying in the freezer until we get through those! I have confidence they'll be fine.

I have previously ordered single 1kg bags like you, but also like you we take a while to get through a 1kg bag and it's a bit stale at the end.

No deals on more fruity flavored ones? :(

    • Hey @Grafos never hurts to double check!

These are the only coffee that'll be featured in this deal. If you're keen on something fruity, but not wildly fruity then perhaps you could get a small bag of our Colombia Cauca Single Origin at regular price to tie you over until fruity options are featured in a deal :)

  • Hi I have ordered Pancake Party Blend during last promotion period, however did not like the taste, the taste is very light for milk based coffee. Could anyone suggest a good blend for milk based coffee? Thanks

    • I’m currently using thank you blend and I like it. I drink with milk only. It’s not super strong though but strong enough for me, I wouldn’t say it’s light though.

I’ve also tried the moments blend and I like that one too with milk.

    • +1

Noooooooo don't tell me this. I've literally just this morning pulled my bag out of the freezer after getting through the Sao Paulo (which honestly was too light for me as well).

    • +1

have you tried moments to memories? it might just be what you're looking for, currently on sales too. Also they recommend 20 in 20 out, not the standard 1:2 ratio so keep that in mind if it's too light for you

      • Any feedback on the 1:1?

I love the BSP but have stuck to 1:2 and have been happy with it. 1:1 just seems odd to me for a double shot for milk (and a fair way to adjust for dial in).

        • +1

I'm the same as you, tried 1:1 once or twice but back to 1:2 and it's been good for me

    • Hey @DarkMatter0 no stress, different strokes, different folks, so I know there's no single coffee that will be everyone's favourite!

If you don't mind me asking roughly how much milk were you adding and what brew recipe were you using?

If you want a more chocolatey coffee to cut through milk I'd recommend giving our Brazil Single Origin a shot and for more of a caramel flavour try our Peru Single Origin :)

  • Any chance of a deal on the decaf so I can add it to my order too?

Also when it comes to freezing the beans, do you recommend freezing in the bags they come in?

    • +1

Another vote please for including some decaf in this deal? Will purchase if you can. Thanks.

      • +2

Hey @Frankyboy and @HappyPants never hurts to ask!

I can confirm Decaf won't be added to this deal, we simply only have enough decaf in stock to fulfil any existing or new orders placed at regular price. Perhaps you could just placer a small order to tie you over and then make the most of the deal pricing when it's included in a deal :)

It's fine to freeze in the bags they arrive in, but even better if you can portion and vac pack them or utilise other methods to further protect the good stuff from the elements, there's a few good tips that have been posted here about freezing from @Chazzozz (appreciate the answer assist and you helpful contributions as always) amongst others :)

    • +1

Also when it comes to freezing the beans, do you recommend freezing in the bags they come in?

See my comment above in regards to this. Hopefully it answers your question!

  • The best!

    • Right back at you :)

  • +2

I'm just trying to get my head around the warnings mentioned in this deal. It seemed pretty honest and sincere so I did something I've never done previously and stocked up 3KGs. Nearly 2 months later there doesn't seem to be any real reduction in deal frequency or price?

    • +1

Been buying from LB for ~4 years now.

Anecdotally I’d say deals have gone from 1 per month, to several per month relatively recently.

Generally price has crept a little in the last 6 months, but this deal @ 50% is a touch more aggressive than the usual 40%, and brings the price back down to where it used to sit.

I don’t think you can go too far wrong tbh, it’s good coffee at good pricing. You can buy bulk and freeze to hedge against increases, or wait and end up with fresher coffee.

      • I'm either interpreting your post wrong or you're answering something different to what I asked.

    • +6

Hey @Hinee thank you so much for your terrific order a little while back and your continued support, it's truly appreciated and not something we take for granted!

I'll answer on the assuming by "doesn't seem to be any real reduction in deal frequency or price" you meant "doesn't seem to be any real reduction in deal frequency or increase in price." If my assumption is incorrect please let me know and I'll amended my response as needed.

I hear your concern loud and clear, it is a reasonable query you've made and I'm glad you've aired your thoughts rather than bottling them up, hopefully by the time I've finished typing this response we'll be back on the same page.

First, I don't believe I ever indicated the frequency of deals would change one way or another. In that post you're referring to I said "the deal of tomorrow is promised to no one." From my perspective this speaks to the specifics of the deal, that comment was not intended to indicate there will no more deals ever and it was the last deal we'd ever post. To date there has been no Lime Blue Coffee deals posted with a per kg price available as low as the deal you're referring to.

Second, as I'm sure you can appreciate business is nuanced and we approach it from a holistic perspective, so when pricing things every single detail needs to be considered for the best chance of staying in business. For example, the pricing in that deal you're referring to takes into account reducing the cost of our Accounting bill and …

Third, in that post I said any needed price increase would happen over time and I didn't give an exact price increase date. Our coffee costs have notably increase and in turn we have made some increases in our prices when necessary, but we've also been working hard in a holistic way as mentioned in prior posts to reduce costs from other areas to help limit the need to increase costs to customers. Continuing on our goal for an "honest and sincere" approach to our customers we haven't been double dipping (to clarify I'm not trying to say a for-profit company decreasing costs and increasing prices is doing something wrong, I'm simply saying we have chosen not to do that) by reducing those other costs and increase our coffee prices as if we didn't find some cost relief from other angles thinking "we gave everyone a heads up about coffee going up, it's gone up for us, so let's pass it on in full even though we've been able to reduce some other costs." All that said if the financial relief we've found in other areas goes away or volume notably drops then coffee could very easily be in the mid $40s after a discount is applied based on our current coffee costs. We do try to share developments worthy of sharing with our customers, but we don't share every single nuanced peak and valley as we'd likely exhaust our customers and there'd be a lot stop starting between wins and backsteps as every day in business is a bit of a roller coaster. Some recent wins we haven't posted about include…historically speaking every single order in certain areas we've made a financial loss on, we've been trying our best to keep to "Australiawide flat rate shipping" but with recent cost increases we were close to saying "sorry, we can no longer send orders to xyz areas…" and at the last minute we've found a way to make those orders profitable, that solution may go away in the future but while it remains we've turned a loss from those orders into a profit. From a cashflow perspective historically we've purchased about a month's supply of packaging at a time, we now still purchase smallish amounts of packaging, but it's priced as if we've drawn down a year's supply at once. On the flip side, as things grow bit by bit, fixed costs increase as a direct correlation, the ATO requires extra from us and this increases our bookeeping/accounting costs (a random example of this is when you start our paying wages PAYG withholdings gets submitted quarterly to the ATO, then after a little while based on a few factors the ATO wants you to start paying months the bookkeeper processing costs just instantly went from $x fee 4 times a year to $x 12 times a year, our Workcover also goes up with revenue, more revenue means more employees (wages and super goes up every year, more employees also means more payroll admin and not just bookkeeping, Accounting software also increases based on employee increases…), rent, shipping and pretty much all other costs go up in price like clockwork every year…and there's a whole lot of other costs that I won't even get into. I'm not trying to complain as I love business be it good, bad or indifferent, I find it all riveting. I'm also not trying to claim there's anything special about us, these type costs situations are generally true across the vast majority of businesses.

I know I've rambled a bit (well more than a bit), but I hope you now know the post you're referring to was the 100% truth and it's just that I haven't sat still since, I've been continuing to work hard and find new ways to keep costs as low as I viable can for our wonderful customers without comprising the quality of our coffee :)

    • I bought 3kg like ~1 year ago, been seeing these deals like 1-4 times a month now since then… so yeah, pretty much the standard pricing at this point. No different than going to Coles 2 weeks later for half price specials.

      • Difference is you're supporting a small business and you get them delivered. Why keep giving our great duopolies and big brands money?

        • I meant that it's the same tactic. "50 % off!"… well it's not 50 % if you have a special every 2 weeks. It's just the normal price, and the rest is just extra profit from unaware customers.

          • @adehmar: Hey @adehmar thank you so much for placing your first order with us a while back, it does mean a lot!

Just to ensure we're on the same page, when we post a deal that generally speaks to around the time we get deliveries and that translates to either a desire for a cash flow bump, space freed up or both. I view Lime Blue Coffee and our terrific customers as a team in that we try to create win-win scenarios. We get a pallet of coffee delivered and then need some extra cash flow to assist with paying the invoice, so we offer customers a discount and in exchange orders for that specific SKU increase and this increase helps to cover the cost of that delivery. As you will see across our deals they are usually only for a few options at a given time. We get full priced orders every single day, so we don't have a constant x% discount going on across all our range. The % discount we offer our fantastic customers is simply equal to the margin resellers like supermarkets would take if we sold the good stuff to them. As such, as long as we have direct supply demand I believe we'll continue to pass on the supermarket margins to customers via savings. If for some reason the direct supply market has a notable downslope then our fresh coffee will be sold at regular price by resellers, which means our profitability would remain the same it's just that supermarkets would get the money customers currently save by going direct to us. I am hopefully and also optimistic that we can continue the direct relationship with our customers more many years to come :)

    Hello LBC,
I am a regular buyer and buys 2× 1kg bags
This is not enough to make it to free shipping.
Freezer space is permium for us
Would you be able to lower MOV for free shipping?

    • 2x 1kg bags of your regular plus 1x 500g of something different to try.

    • Hey @Wiser thank you for your orders and continued support, it really does mean a lot!

Never hurts to ask, but it's just not financially viable to lower the free shipping threshold at present. However, @SanguinarySeraph (appreciate the helpful suggestion, thank you) makes a good suggestion, you only need to add another 500g to get free shipping…perhaps you could split the order with a friend, family member or neighbour :)

Find some other coffee nerds in your life that would appreciate a bag of great beans and give them one, they'll be back for more and you can do group orders in the future. It's nice to share coffee, even if it's just supply chain sharing.

  • amazing deal bought 4kg this round!~

    • +1

Woohoo how wonderful to hear @hikki :)

Thank you truly for such an outstanding order, it's sincerely appreciated and really does make a positive difference!

  • +1

I must be in the minority, and think their beans are not good.. and it’s definitely not a method issue as I’ve given some beans to multiple friends who have said the same. And I’ve tried multiple of their beans

    • I guess the beans are a fruit.

Like wine, there are good and bad vintages.

Anyone have any idea if we are in a good vintage for Brazil?

Or how to understand what makes a good year for coffee beans?

      Cheers

    • What's your setup? Filter, espresso? Do you drink milk-based or straight black?

  • Shame I already bought up until december on the previous deals which was said to not come back at 40% off. This deal is even better.

    • +1

Hey @devize than you so much for planning ahead with terrific orders up until December!!!

It's fantastic to know this deal's a winner for you. A few quick comments which will hopefully put your mind at ease and enable you to make the most of this deal. First, I don't believe I ever stated "not come back at 40% off" and that was never my intention to convey like that, so there was no intended misguidance/funny business. Second, don't forget you're in full control to edit your order how you see fit (within the scope of the technology) prior to the dispatch date. For example, today you could go to your order confirmation email, click the "edit or view your order" button, this will redirect you to the confirmation page, from there you can simply remove the existing products from your order and replace them with the products of today's pricing, once confirmed the system will automatically issue a refund for the difference or create a payment link if the total order has increased :)

      • Tried this and there's no way to remove or replace the existing products or cancel the order. Theres a cancellation button at the bottom of the screen that opens up to a blank window but that's about it.

        • Please send a reply email to your order confirmation listing the above and we'll sort it one way or another, no problem at all :)

  • -1

    Hey Tom,
Just to confirm within the same order let's say I got two KG where I want different dispatch and roast date for each kg with its releveant shipping cost in each , I cant do that right?

Also the free shipping is $69 while the 2kg makes it 63.80 so that means I need to buy another kg to get the free shipping but then I dont want them roasted same date, It would have been good if the shipping was aligned around that amount

    • +1

Hey @kmmayar always better to ask than wonder!

You are correct. I understand you've addressed the financial side of things, but at present from both technological and operational perspectives we can't viably split a single order across multiple dispatch dates. Multiple dispatch dates requires multiple separate orders to be placed. I can see the benefit from the customer perspective of this being possible to save some life admin and on the surface what you're enquiring about sounds fairly straight forward. However, there'd be a lot we'd have to investigate to achieve it across, site software, shipping software and stock/forecasting software, all of which could need to work perfectly to ensure smooth operations. We will look into it further on the periphery of our to investigate list, but if it were to be viably possible it would still take some time to implement across the different technologies we utilise. I'm not trying to be negative, just to set realistic expectations based on how I'm found what seem like simple tech build projects to suddenly get very complicated very quickly…

With regard to adjusting the free shipping threshold, that's unfortunately just not financially viable, we'll continue to do our best to subsidise shipping costs for our customers as best we can, while ensure to still keep our lights on :)

p.s. via this deal you'd only need 2.5kg for free shipping and if you're anywhere close to Moorabbin, VIC then you can opt for $0 click and collect without a min spend threshold

  • Looks like this weeks shipment window has closed :( showing monday 4th August as the earliest for me.

    • Yea oh well still placed an order!

      • Fantastic @phoeb thank you so much for the order, it's truly appreciated and I've got my fingers crossed you get a super speedy delivery!!!

    • +1

Hey @powerhead there's were still dispatch spots available this morning for tomorrow and Friday, but they went like hot cakes, Monday isn't too far away!

"Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)"

p.s. you can always place the order for Monday, send a reply email to your order confirming requesting early dispatch if possible and if we can make it happen for you we will!, but no promises, all we can do is try!

  • Dammit just bought other beans for 40% last week

    • +1

Hey @booze101 thank you so much for your recent fantastic order with us, it's truly appreciated!

Perhaps you can get the best of both, enjoy the other coffee first and still make the most of this deal by utilising our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system to line up your next order :)

  • I used to get the enterprise blend from Airjo before their price went stratospheric. I have tried LBC's moments to memories blend before and I found that it was a bit lacking in strength. The ALDI Lazzio Brazil single origin comes close and that's what I have reverted to.

Can someone who has tried Airjo's enterprise coffee before comment on if LBC's Brazil/Columbian/Peru SO comes close?

    TIA

    • +1

It's all subjective but I rate Lime Blues Brazil much higher than the enterprise from Airjo. Definitely worth a try at this price point

  • just placed another order. I'm surprised you haven't put your other specials into the same liating

  • @LimeBlueCoffee Thankyou 👍 I just placed an order for a bag of Peruvian Chanchamayo Grade and a bag of Brazil São Paulo Single Origin. I selected shipping for the end of November (have to get through my current beans stock) and I'm looking forward to trying out these flavours, cheers 🍻

  • @LimeBlueCoffee between the San Paulo and moments which one is stronger?

  • Placed another order!

  • +1

SanPaolo SO had been my favourite coffee for years.
Then Tom introduced Papua New Guinea aka "fruit bomb" once, and it was awesome, but… never seen it again. Came back to my old Brasil friend, that tasted OK now, but a bit dull.
Then again, new blend, 'Nectar of Gods' - love it!!! thought it will be my 'go to' coffee now, and…same story again, no longer on the list, even at full price
Took my last bag from the freezer this morning, facing a dilemma: SPSO is a great coffee, but I just don't want it anymore :)

  • How long does delivery take in Melbourne? Going overseas next Wednesday will it arrive by then if dispatched on 07.08?

    • Morning @bonbonbonbonyum always better than ask than wonder!

Generally speaking I believe it should arrive in time. However, there's no 100% guarantee with standard as there can be surprise curveballs like a truck breaking down…given it's time sensative Express Post may be the go and even better click and collect if anywhere near Moorabbin 3189 :)

  • Hi, thanks for the deal! How does the SO Brazil perform for filter coffee? I usually brew with a Clever Dripper and prefer low-acid, smooth, chocolatey profiles.
Also, could you share the roast level on the Agtron scale? TIA
