      Well, when I was 8, I "nearly" (90%) built the Lego Technic 8865 "Test Car" set. And this set doesn't look as complex.

    Do you mean you wish it were one of the larger scale models (UCS-like)? Or that it’s not to scale with the other minifigure scale ones?

  As someone who has bought most of the minifigure and larger scale Batmobiles over the last 10 years, and also as someone aware of the ever-increasing LEGO prices, the RRP on this one still really shocked me. The animated Batmobile was already a bit of a jump but this is worse again.

  The built set does admittedly look pretty hefty at least in the promo shots. But I will be waiting for sub-$100 for this one. Even that feels high knowing what I’ve spent on other ones.

  Edit: Seems like the scale of this set is in between minfigure and the larger scale Batmobiles, which I guess explains the price a little. Found this article talking about the fact that the set was designed without a particular scale in mind.
