FREE 35c every 7 days. Usually tracks within 15 minutes. Increased from 20c. (Sorry Trivago Sunday participants will have to wait till Sunday)

  • Put in a random city or hotel with a check in and check out date.

      When you "inquire" about a hotel through that link/website… you will get 35c through TopCashBack.

      Inquiring really means you go to the site, enter a location, click on a hotel, and click "view deal"… that's it. No real booking needed.

    Reading the fine print on Trivago TV ads (taking the focus off the guy with a mouthful of teeth), I can only respond with…

    "We receive cashback for hotel clicks on the Trivago app. We do not respond to those offers which are below our minimum click value."

    Any bunch that claim to be a comparison site, yet don't display all the offerings out there is bordering on fraudulent IMHO.
    The take home message for me is we'll almost certainly get a better deal by NOT using Trivago (since there are better prices out there not listed, likely because their prices are lower and they don't have the margin to pay Trivago sufficiently).
    1. Use Trivago to discover the maximum (not minimum) price you should be paying.
    2. Use Booking.com to discover satisfactory offerings and then book directly (B.com are supposed to offer service if things go awry, but I've found out repeatedly they do nothing, so don't pay them a fee, nor get the hotel to pay a fee).
